Some might be your favorite movies that you have seen several times or some are just movies you have to watch. My short list is as follows with a quote.

Cool Hand Luke, "What we've got here is failure to communicate"

Caddy Shack " I don't think the heavy stuff is going to come down for quite awhile"

Top Gun, "C'mon Mav, do some of that pilot ****"

Dirty Dozen, "boy oh boy, killing Generals could become a habit"

Caddy Shack " I don't think the heavy stuff is going to come down for quite awhile"

Top Gun is WAY up on my list! "I feel the need....the need for speed!"

Any Die Hard movie, except maybe the 2nd

Caddyshack and Tin Cup

Rudy

Casino and Goodfellas

When I watch movies, I do everything I can to immerse myself in them and ignore the impossibilities... Usually what ruins it for me is bad acting, or genuinely impossible outcomes... and of course, horrible predictability.

If it's believable (to a point) and the execution is well done, I'll hang on to any style (minus maybe horror.. so dumb). I also need a movie loaded with rise. I cannot stand the need to destroy someone for 1.5 hours and then do 5 minutes of happy time and then end the movie.

A river runs through it
Legends of the Fall
The Deep
Reservoir dogs
Good fellas

A good nap is never ruined by a movie.

Christopher Nolan movies

Batman. Inception. Intesteller.

Uncle Buck & The Great Outdoors- I loved John Candy!

Saving Private Ryan or any historical fiction or actual event war movie.

The Godfather parts I and II.

I - *smack* "You can act like a man!"

II - "My father's name was Antonio Andolini, and this is for you!"

Saving Private Ryan or any historical fiction or actual event war movie.

SPR...yes. outstanding flick. especially the cemetery scene at the end. I like Schindler's List, and 2001, A Space Odyssey. I never get tired of seeing them

Iron Eagle (Chappyyyy)
Top Gun (Negative Ghost Rider the pattern is full)
Days of Thunder (Go high Cole you can drive through it)
Old School (Snoop Snoop a loop)

Die hard I
Top Gun
Full metal jacket and most military movies along those lines

I also love Almost Famous.

"The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you're uncool."

"He looks harmless but he does represent the magazine that trashed 'Layla,' broke up Cream, ripped every album Led Zeppelin ever made. Don't forget the rules man. This little $hit is the enemy. He writes what he sees...although it would be cool to be on the cover."

Clint Eastwood westerns.

A Bronx Tale - "Now you's can't leave..."

Green Street Hooligans - "I would have smacked seven shades of s#!t out of him!"

The Departed - "I'm the guy who does this job. You must be the other guy."

Beerfest

Sideways

The Other Guys

Pulp Fiction

All the Batman movies

I love Nolan movies too. Interstellar, Inception, Memento. Fascinating to me

I can do this all weekend. How about a little Lucky Number Slevin?

Mr. Goodkat: "A Kansas City Shuffle is when everyone looks right, you go left."

The Boss: "I'm the boss."
Slevin: "I thought he was the boss."
The Boss: "Why? Do we look alike?"

Lindsey: "Why do they call him the Rabbi?"
Slevin: "Because he is a Rabbi."

Mr. Goodkat: "Charlie Chaplin once entered a Charlie Chaplin look alike contest in Monte Carlo and came in third. That's a story."

The Last Waltz.

Any time it's on VH1 Classic, I *have* to watch it.

Literally any classic James Bond, absolutely love them and John Candy movies lol

Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum

RAD!!!!!!!!! Yes!!! I think my brothers and I wore out the rental copy of that video at the store up the street from us. Such a great movie. That one and BMX Bandits were on almost weekly when I was a kid.
