Finally completed my bag. I don't see any further changes in the foreseeable future now that I am happy with every slot. The theme of my bag is now definitely forgiveness.
Callaway XR 16 set at 12.5 degrees neutral with a stiff speeder evolution 565 shaft -
This driver has transformed my game off the tee. Sounds and feels great and is so easy to launch.
Callaway V Series Heavenwood with stiff Basara e25 shaft -
Everyone here knows about these. The hype is real. As someone that can't use a fairway off the deck, I can hit this nice and high and is good for around 200 - 210 yards.
Titleist 816H1 23 degree hybrid with stiff Diamana blue s70 shaft -
My new favourite club in the bag. So easy to hit. Frames the ball nicely at address, feels great and gets the ball up easily. I've struggled to fill my hybrid slot, so am over the moon to finally find a hybrid I have a load of confidence in.
Titleist AP1 716 5-pw with Kuro Kage tini 65g graphite shafts -
These clubs took me a while to get used to, I think because of the lighter graphite shafts. They are now performing for me. I swapped this out with my old AP2's after my last fitting. The graphite helps my old aching joints, and I love the extra forgiveness and help getting the ball to launch (you see the theme of clubs helping with launch. With a 93mph driver speed, and little hand action, I'm all for help getting the ball in the air as much as possible).
Cleveland 588 Rotex 2.0 48, 52 and 56 2 dot wedges with stock steel shafts -
48 degree is the cavity back to give a little help on full shots. All 3 wedges have steel shafts as I still think they offer more feel, especially on half shots and little flops and chips. These clubs are great for my sweeping style of playing with wedges.
Cure CX1 -
Won this on Facebook in one of their giveaways. It's not a work of art like some putters out there, but what it is, is a tool that flat out works for me. I have 1 screw in each side meaning this plays at 348g's.
