Design Your Burger

Buttered/Toasted Pretzel Bun
1 Big patty, half ground ribeye, half ground bacon!
Melted cheese sauce with a bit of a kick
Lettuce, tomato, pickle, grilled onions
 
Pretzel bun
2/3lb angus beef/bacon patty
Cheddar cheese
fried jalapenos
grilled onions
Chipotle Mayo
Habanero ketchup
Topped with a fried egg.

We'll call it... "The Assplosion"
 
Bun- Soft Pretzel Bun
Patty's- 2 50%Ground sirloin 50% ground bacon
Toppings- Bacon, pickle, 1 peice of lettuce, sharp cheddar cheese, and Pepper Jack Cheese
Condiments- Peanut Butter, Raspberry Vinegrette
I will call it: Breakfast Revenge
 
If you guys ever make it to California, you need to check out Slaters 50/50... Where you can design pretty much any burger you want.

Out there all of the time. Been to Slaters. Its decent.
 
2 x 1/4 lb lamb patties, med rare
3 slices nueske's bacon, crispy but not burned
Avocado slices
Sunny side up egg
Muenster cheese
Garlic aioli
Lightly buttered and toasted brioche bun
 
2 patties, pepper jack (between the patties), provolone (under the top bun) and cheddar cheese (on top of the bottom bun), crispy bacon, grilled mushrooms, shredded lettuce, dill pickles chips, bun lightly toasted on both sides, little mustard, little ketchup and you have the Just_Hacking burger.
 
Pretzel bun, 2, 1/4 lb patties, 1 ground bacon, 1 beef, white cheddar cheese, fresh red onions, lettuce, and some barbecue sauce.
 
Ive made it once and now i want to make it again:

Two 1/4lb patties seasoned with Garlic Pepper Salt, grilled
Two pieces of salami on each patty
Pepper jack cheese over both patties and salami
Over easy egg
Two strips of bacon
Shredded lettuce
Pickle
mustard
mayonnaise
ketchup
Pretzel bun buttered and just toasted on the grill
Cool Ranch Doritos on the bottom half of the bun so the chips get broken every time you grab the burger
 
Best burger I've ever had isn't a burger. But it would be my burger.


Fox Bros. "burger"

-chopped, smoked beef brisket
-bacon
-pimento cheese
-lettuce, tomato, little bit of mayo
-buttered and toasted sesame bun


Not too fancy, but it's pretty darn perfect.

Hawaiian sliders
Sweet King's Hawaiian rolls
Pineapple slices
Lean ground beef shaped into small sliders (seasoned with Cackalacky sauce and a dash of red pepper into the beef)
Grilled onions
 
1/2 burger
Crumbled Blue Cheese
Bacon
Onion Straws
Chipotle Mayo
Pretzel Bun

I have been thinking quite a bit about this one recently.
 
1. Ground beef, one patty at least 1/4 pound.
2. Guacamole. You can't have too much.
3. Some shredded lettuce.
4. Jack Cheese (melted)
5. Mayo and mustard (I have to have mustard.
6. Wheat bun but it better not be dry.
7. Plenty of napkins (see #2).

The Islands Restaurant chain actually makes a pretty decent one of these. Used to be a place here called "The Earthquake Cafe" which made the best one.
 
It was funny, while I was in Brownsburg last month, we stopped in at Scotty's for dinner and I did a build your own burger as follows, to which our waitress told me that it was the best sounding burger she'd ever heard built and then proceeded to take a picture once she delivered it to the table:

Sweet Buttery Bun
Hot Sauce
Honey Mustard
Blue Cheese Sauce
Sauteed Mushrooms
Sauteed Onions
Guacamole
Fried Egg
Grassfed Patty
Pepperjack Cheese
Lettuce/Tomato/Onion

Sloppy, but the flavour profile was almost spot on.
 
This sorta works in this thread. Went to a McDonalds that had the create your own burger shop.

Went with 2 patties, cheese, bacon, siracha mayo, guacamole, tortilla strips, and grilled onions.

It may have been one of the best burgers I've ever had.

I'm a fan of everything but the BBQ sauce. But I'd get it just to try the hicksta.

It's fantastic!
 
For now it is just the burger with cheese. I have cut way back on carbs to support my daughter who is doing the same to see if it helps her epilepsy. I do love a good burger off of my old grill.
