Tracking says mine will be in today. With snow on the ground for the moment my initial testing will come with a launch monitor. Hopefully it's gone by the weekend and I can get in some cold weather numbers.

I hit this really good today. More coming soon but I'm getting a ball flight that I like and solid distance.
One thing I want to note is how forgiving it was both high on the face and towards the toe. What I saw was a ball flight similar to catching it pretty solid.

I'm actually not seeing the distance I was getting with the sldr or the v-series...by probably 10 yards , but the miss hits are more consistent. ..and my ball flight is high , really high

Well not today. I guess weather held it up somewhere. Tracking hasn't updated since Friday so not to sure what's going on. Sad sad sad.. I'm sure it will show up tomorrow.

I didn't mean a full fitting. Just the basics to get an idea. The gravity core may be just a flip, but having that flip doubles the number of other options to play with. At the Local GG there are only two guys that I would trust with anything. The others, I usually tell them.
I'm not concerned about us, just thinking from the OEMs view....how to maximize sales, when "selling" the merits of these things takes some time, knowledge and effort. I've watched one of those average salesman take a customer right to a simpler driver because it was, simpler to describe, simpler to show results and he could hand the guy the club and come back in ten. "How's it going....ok, try this one then..."
You understand the concept of qualifying a sale. That's why they want you to spend $100 on a fitting and then credit it back towards your purchase. They want to know you're serious before spending the time. Can't blame them.
Im sure many "get away" because the customer or salesperson wasn't willing to spend the time.

I chose higher ballflight with a 11.5 degree loft. Really high, but really long. You can always drop the loft. I'm finding the 815 to be a consistently long driver.
