Fairway woods- Does anybody care?

Appreciate all the feedback from folks. For whatever reason, hadn't put much thought into a 4-wood over a 3-wood. Though I'm almost certain it'd be much better for me.

It can honestly make a huge difference. Incredibly difficult to hit a 3w off the turf for me, but a 4w was no problem. Added in a heavenwood, and then I was always reaching for a wood because I had that much renewed confidence.

Based on my observations and what other golfers tell me, it is a combination of things.
- Many amateurs no longer carry a 3 metal in their bag
- A significant number that still do have the club in their bag, only use it off the tee. (Further limiting its use and significance.)
- Most find this club the most difficult club to hit solidly and consistently off the deck and whether they say so or not, most seem to know that it's more the Indian than the arrow (and who wants to be reminded of that by talking about it?)
