Michigan hackers, check in here

Out now... too far for me :(

It's right around 2 hours for me.

Swingtek appears to have one decent sim, and one that always is a bit off.

The ones at cattails are supposed to be pretty good (a never played there)

I guess pick a spot that works for everyone....

A shame. We have people travelling hours. Maybe next time.

Totally understand... I would do it but I have a family gathering that afternoon and the added drive time boxes me in! I am bummed. I am still very interested in the next one so Ill keep watching!

Hope you guys have fun!

How do you guys handle the Pure Michigan commercials? Too funny. Unfortunately we get then in Ohio too.

Those commercials play nationwide, and brings tourism dollars into our state.
It's a campaign that works!

I agree some are comical. That guy's voice though.

Wait it who's voicing them now? Origanally it was tim Allen. Don't watch tv much so have t seen one in a long time.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
I was thinking about the event schedule (of what's announced).

What events are you guys hopeful of making?

Myself:
LIITA
Pittsburgh
Kentucky
Savannah (possibly)
KC
And the Championship at Disney

As well as the King (have to check)
And the Gauntlet (no brainer here!)

The Shaft event looks great in Texas also...
Waiting to see what else gets announced.

Very much looking forward to warmer breezes, green grass, and sunshine.

Yes! But CJ, aren't you missing one?

I have my eyes on a few events as well. Plenty to talk about next weekend.

Yes, yes I am!
I hope it can be a reality for sure!

I just wanted to post in here to see if there is any interest. I have a golf trip planned at Treetops in Gaylord, MI for May 29-31(it's not memorial day weekend) as of right now I have 6 confirmed and oddly enough none of them are from Michigan. So if there is any interest shoot me a PM.

Thanks

That's quite a haul from Michigan and we are excited for this year.

When the events stop being fun, I will probably lose interest.
The thing is though, golf with THPers, the courses, and now.... food, things really seem to be kicked up a notch...or two!

These events are a fantastic chance to see old friends, make new ones, golf top tier courses, and have a great time doing so!

That's quite a list CJ! I wish I could do them all. The I'm hoping to do 2 but we'll see. I wasn't originally thinking about the couples event but the more I think about it, getting her involved might be a good thing for me so I'm gonna give it a shot.

I'm looking at in no particular order...
LIITA
Pittsburgh
Kentucky
The king
The gauntlet
Disney
Legacy

I want in the Legacy too!
Hoping more Michigan peeps enter!

Can't win if you don't enter!

Bumping for the crowd. Would love to have 1 more to get a solid 8 to keep the costs consistent. Confirming tomorrow for 2 sims.

Andddddd we are booked at Cattails for the 24th. 9 am on 2 sims. If we can get an 8th that would be great.

I will also add we have 2 sims reserved for 4 hours (if we want it).
If we get done early, they said it was fine.

The price is $50/hr per sim
Tyler and I were thinking 4 guys/sim and thinking we should be able to shoot 18 in 2 hrs.

I was directed here for some input.

My group and I are starting to plan year 3 of our annual Michigan golf trip. We went to Tullymore/St. Ives/Bucks Run/Pohl Cat two years ago. This past summer we drove up to the UP to hit Greywalls/Timberstone/Sweetgrass. Originally we were targeting the Gaylord area, but with a baby due late July/early August I don't want to go that far away should something happen.

We're targeting the first week in June for our trip, and have been looking at a Sunday-Tuesday Trip. Right now we've zero'd in on Eagle Eye/Hawk Hallow for Monday and the Golf Club at Harbor Shores for Tuesday.

However, were trying to decide on where to play on Sunday afternoon on our way to Lansing.

Some courses that have been thrown out there:

-Yarrow
-Thornapple Creek
-Angels Crossing
-Island Hills
-The Medalist
-Hawks Head

Any input is much appreciated!

Mack,
Welcome!
Where are you coming in from?

A lot of good tracks there!

I have to ask, (I always ask people) how did you like Bucks Run?, as it's one of my favorites (except fot the par 3's...8 with a back left pin is BRUTAL! Almost guarantee 3jack)

CJ I have never played Bucks Run. That needs to change THIS YEAR!
