I'm literally less than 100 yds from the Mexican border here in San Ysidro. My phone won't stop switching to roaming since reception keeps going back and forth between local cell towers.

If we all laugh at the joke, is it trolling? Or just well played humor?

Yes, but upon reflection I get what Alez was hinting at and while it's fun to point out the obvious I should have a better decorum.

I will say this, if you are going to point that out then at least be consistent. You can raise concerns but you lose credibility when a few minutes earlier you complimented another for making the same comments.

Hey buddy thanks for your time. Appreciate it.

Man there is some good folks floating around THP.

I know, I know. Man I need one of those in my life, you guys killed it.

Round 1 of 3 complete. Had a good time teeing it up with THPers and I'm looking forward to more fun the rest of the weekend!

Thanks man it was a fun afternoon.

No,no,no. The thread was "fun" when you guys were there with the updates and pic's. Something tells me "fun" isn't descriptive enough for what you were a part of.

Almost home again. Going to be so nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

Could've sworn when I saw the preview that this was or would be directed at me.

I'm waiting on the Garage to open up.

And to hear from my lawyer ensuring my wife can't cut me out. :bulgy-eyes:

Why wait on the garage to open?

I'm seriously loving following the UST event thread.

How could one NOT want to be in and experience that?

Flow neck.

What stroke is better for flow neck? Slight arc or SBST?

Arc since a flow neck is inevitably toe down in setup.

I'm not one that subscribes to that, plus I don't believe in SBST. :alien:

That said, typically more toe hang is preferred by larger arc's, and face balanced by lesser arc's. An FN putter is usually in the middle.

Funny enough, THP has something pretty cool coming for this topic as soon as I wrap a couple more things up.

Not always all the way toe down, if its heel shafted then yes, but it usually situates in the middle.

Okay thanks. And I'll definitely be looking forward to what you have pending cause I need to learn more about putting strokes and how the different necks suit which stroke

So a good example would be Steve stricker? Sorry just trying to learn more about putters since I have a few and each one has a different neck

Kind of. Like Jman said its not written in stone, but the common consensus in putter fitting is the stronger the arc in your swing, the more toe down the putter you should use. Its why strong arc putters use #9 type putters.

Best advice I can give you. Don't over think it. So many fall to paralysis by overanalysis here.

Freaking finally take a full weekend off, and RAIN. Freaking miserable.
