Well it was good while it lasted. He's done. The body just wont hold up for him I am afraid. I was so hopeful that he would come back and win or at least compete at a high level.

It really is, and I am hopeful it doesn't last. I remember at the PGA show we were all getting ready for dinner and I said to Mward, no way he plays all of these and will WD or pull out somewhere. He started blinking and getting angry and talking about the dominance.

I was hopeful I would have been wrong, but this schedule made no sense.

He will never be a "joke" to me. The pain I see on his face isn't from his body.

I said it in the other thread - the whole trip to Dubai was insane given his back issues. Every single person I know who has had back surgery/issues dreads long plane rides. I get that he's chartering or flying first class, but it's still not the same as having the ability to stretch out/move however you need to on that flight.

I mean, I guess you have to get that appearance money since I don't think he'll have many more tournaments to worry about.

He has to be close to leading the tour in all time career WD's. I kid.....sort of......

If I come home one day and TW is in the lead or has won a tournament then ill take look, but right now there are too many good stories on tour to waste any more time on him.

Honestly . . . I don't care if he comes back strong or not. He was at one point the best by far. I hope he continues to play. I don't care what his scores are. He just needs to take it VERY, VERY easy for a years or so. The Senior Tour awaits!!

I was really hoping he would come back a play strong again. I have always been a fan. But with his injury, I believe he is done and just hasn't accepted it yet.

Hate to hear this, I am one who was hopeful that he could come back and at least be competitive. If this is back related, I fear he's done. I mean how can he make this big comeback, sign with Taylormade, claim his body is healthy and then W/D after just his 2nd tournament back? What a disaster.

Is it wrong that i put him on the WD watch list after his 1st hole of the tourney? See the other thread devoted to TW... I could tell something wasn't right but as is the norm with him, he was going to try to gut it out.

Perhaps it is related to the expected/known weather delay of the tourney, but the weather was perfect on Thursday and he still looked (and played) bad.

Now the question is, how long is he out this time?
