5 million posts will happen in 2016. We are not sure when, why or how, but there is no doubt it will get there before we realize it. As we get closer, more details will come out, but there will be a special contest around that milestone for those that made it happen.
 
Major achievement to look ahead to! I'll do my best to help us get there.

it felt like last year we hit 1M. can't believe 5 is just in the horizon.

I'm pleased to have made a small contribution to that post count. I'm creeping in on 1,500 after only five years.
