Your wedge setup & full wedge distances?

52, 56, 60. 112, 98, 85

52* - 112-117 yards
56* - 100-110 yards
60* - 80-85 yards.

The reason I have this set up is quite simple: They were the only reasonably priced left handed wedges I could get my hands on in a 250 mile radius. The fact my 56* is another make and model than my 52 and 60* leads to inconsistent gapping as well, as it generates considerably less spin (i.e.: none). As I'm getting better and willing to spend more money on clubs, I'm seriously considering buying new wedges to reduce the gap to my set PW (44* 135 yards). I'd like to see 5-6 degree gaps, so that might be a 50-56-62 or a 50-55-60 set-up.

In contrast to a lot of people over here I love the full swings with the wedges, especially with my 52* and 60*.

I'm glad somebody else sees a big gap between PW and AW/GW. It's always been a 15-20 yard gap for me.

I will go to the grave with said gap I suppose. I have tried and tried. Considering a 48 degree RTX CB but I just typically try to avoid said gap.

PW - 125
GW - 115
54 - 105
60 - 80

I rarely hit a full 60. Would rather 1/2 or 3/4 swing the GW or 54.

Altitude D -wedge 49* - 125 - great club fits in really well behind the PW

Altitude S wedge 54* - 110 - bought it fill the gap between the D and smart sole - looking to replace it soon because sometimes I can't seem to hit any farther the the Smart sole S

Smart sole S 58* - 95 - Really love this club, but wish they made one in 54* as well - very easy to hit full shots with

I have 49/53/58. I like to keep a consistent gap between my wedges. Pw is 44*. I full shots with both the 53 and 58. My distances I hit these are from 115 and under.

Jeebus...some of you guys are beasts!

My set is 48*, 52* and 56* with distances of 100 yds, 85 yds, 70 yds.

I don't typically take a big, full cut with those wedges, though.

I'm a short hitter as well. My PW is 44* which use to be a 9 iron, so I'm;
PW 44* 115
AW 49* 105
SW 54* 95

More less.......

PW - 45* - 125
GW - 49* - 105
SW - 54 - 90
LW - 58 - 75
More or less

58* is only used for sand and flop shots.
SW = 95 yards.
UW = 110 yards
PW = 125 yards.

One set - 51, 56, 60 with distances 115. 100. 85. I use all for full swings. 56 is from desert, 60 is around the greens and bunkers.
One set - 50, 54, 58 with distances 118, 108, and 95. (I could be a bit off on distances, but these are from last July Trackman analysis).

Glad to see this thread as I was just wondering the same thing the last few days.

50* set PW: 110 ish
54* 588 RTX 2.0: 90 ish
58* 588 RTX 2.0: 80 ish

I just got the 588 RTX 2.0's and have been debating whether I got the right lofts. Will have to play with them a while to be sure. Plus, I'm going to be upgrading my irons to XR Pros in the near future, so I have to see what the XR Pro AW (which is 50*) does for me.

51 degree 110-105
55 degree 105-95
58 degree 89-5

My 45 & 50 are set wedges and I normally do full swings. I'll avoid full swings with my 55 and 59 unless the shot absolutely necessitates it, versus a 3/4 shot with my PW or UW.

45 degree - 130
50 degree - 115
55 degree - 100
59 degree - 75

Yeah, I use to use the AW in my set but I find that I like the blade shape better in my wedges because I hit them well. I like the workability of my vokey much more than the AW in my mizuno irons.

Pw 125/130
50 (bent to 48) 110-115
54 100
58 never hit full shots!

Gone this route as it seams to keep my yardages pretty consistent!

45° - 115y carry (Apex set PW)
50° - 105y carry
54° - 90y carry
58° - 80y carry (rarely a full swing with this one though)

46 - 125y
52 - 100y
56 - 80
60 - <80

looking for 50 - 54 - 58 set to fill gap between pw & gw

I go PW, 50,54 and 58. Distances are 130,120,105 and 80 odd gap between my 58 and 54 but i can manipulate my 54 quite a bit. Love my 58 around the greens. Moneytime

AW (50): 100-115
54: 75-105
58: Under 80

I like for my wedge gaps to overlap just a bit. I may not always play the same club at the same distance. For instance if I have a 100 yard shot I may hit my AW or my 54. If I'm shooting at a back pin or if there is trouble long or if I want to make sure I miss short to stay below the hole I'll hit the 54. If it's a front pin or there is trouble to carry just short of the pin I'll go with the AW.

PW 120 yds
AW 110 yds
54 100 yds
58 <30 yds

PW - 125-130yds
50- 105-110 yds
54- 90-100 yds
58- <75 yds

PW: 140? yards
AW: 120? yards
54*: 100 yards
58*: 85 yards

Learning to use ALL around the green and on half shots.

PW 125 yards
52 110 yards
55 100 yards but I'm more consistent from this distance with a partial PW

I've considered having the 55 bent to 56 for a slightly larger gap but only use it for partial shots anyway.

Niblick 42: 100-105
Niblick 49: 80-90
Tour Edge 1Out (58): 60-75 depending on lie

More importantly, I can hit all the "types" of shots that I have in my bag.

I play the following Scor wedges and go for the full shot with all of them when the lie and conditions allow.
59° = 75 yds
55° = 100 yds
50° = 125 yds
46° = 135 yds
