Cobra KING LTD Driver Preview

Do we have any info on free custom shaft offerings for this?
 
It's official, LTD is the permanent club in the driver rotation. Loved my 816 DBD but the MOI and launch on the LTD is too good to pass up.

Right?! I told you man, it's legit. Glad to see my review is proving accurate for more than just me!

I hit all five fairways with mine today. It's a beast.

JMan, Canadan and Fuppy approve? Ugh, this isn't good for my wallet. BTW, what's the verdict on the 3w?

I think the fairway wood is better then the driver and the driver is pretty toot sweet. The CG is perfect for the fairway.
 
I spent about 30 minutes with this one today. Have to say I was pretty darn impressed. Low spin without being crazy low on mishits (sub 1000) and a driver for those that like to move the ball left and right can still do so.

The hosel adapter system is the lightest in the industry at less than 4 grams, which is pretty astonishing so for those that struggle with too much weight in the heel, this one wont have that issue.

It''s a head turner for sure. This driver has had the most "hey, is that the new..." I have personally ever experienced. Everyone who looks at it loves it.
 
I was surprised with how low spin it was on solid hits. I have mine lofted at 12* and getting around 2670 for average is pretty awesome. The best part however was that when I missed out on the toe, I was only seeing a zap of about 700 RPMs.
 
I need to hit this. I had kind of dismissed it as a better players driver but now I want to give it a go.
 
Another after sunset reminder that I forgot to take an image that i wanted to share..... But, I hit a drive on 18 today that should have been horrible in results, yet it carried exactly 255 yards from the tee, landing about 15 yards left of my target line. I am not totally sold on this shaft being the best option for me with this head, but I am hitting fairway after fairway with the King LTD with relative ease, including getting creative and hitting fades and draws at my discretion. It's been a lot of fun.

haha dude I hit it and gear effect took over in a big way. Uttered "Oh No!" and then watched as it stayed in the fairway. It's ridiculous.

Might have been a smash of about 1.1 but it I'll take it every single time if I hit it that poorly.
 
Really cant wait to hit this!
 
I should have this bad boy in hand next week! Can't wait. Oh did I mention I ordered it with #hzrdus?
