Watching the golf channel coverage. Actor Richard Karn from Home improvement lines up his putt, the steps away leaving his putter free standing. Anyone know what putter that is? Is that legal? ( sets the putter, steps back to look at the club's alignment, then grips up and sinks it)
 
The Bridgestone True Balance putters would stand on their own. But didn't see the event, so not sure what putter this one was.
 
Have not seen what you are talking about but yes it's legal
