2015 Christmas Decorations

Getting to that time when Christmas decor starts going up both inside and out! We need a place to share your creations or just neat stuff that you see.

I attended a parade last night and here are some of the neater floats that I saw including some that would be classified as "Texas" size!

Here's my house. Replaced the net lights that were out, only to find out some of the dangling lights went out. So much for the "if one goes out the rest stay lit".

And the finishing touch for the tree I planted this summer.

Here's the Sheflin house. The outside anyways. I'll add more of the indoor when I get time. We added a dog decoration on the porch otherwise the same as last year. Amanda and I said were going to add a new dog Christmas decoration every year from here on out.

Thanks my man. I enjoy it. Looks good without being over the top. I'm not crazy about the candy canes but Amanda likes em so they stay lol.

The front porch reminds me of my buddies old place and that was our kick it spot for years haha

Figured out what happened to my lights. A bulb busted somehow. Got a new one in and all are working again.

Cool thread! Here is ours. Back story: when our daughter Julia was born my mom proposed that we all give her a Christmas Ornament each year. The rub? Give her a Waterford Ornament. We all agreed and over the years we have gone through Waterford, Lennox and Lemoge (sp?). When mom died, she made my brother promise to keep giving Julia one from her each year until she was 21. Julia was 20 this past November and the day after Thanksgiving, we decided to decorate a tree with 19 years X three ornament each year.

Its a pretty expensive tree :angel: but absolutely priceless to us. The only decorations that are not Crystal or porcelain are the lights. We have armed security :arrogant: too.

It's kind of a tough time of year for us, but this tree makes me smile.
