There is a place near the course that isn't too bad. About 105 I think. If anyone has cheaper suggestions would love to hear it or obviously if we get like two or 3 people in a room that'd be great. I don't even care about sleeping on a floor or couch haha. I'm young. I've slept in worse spots

Suncoast casino and hotel. It's next to angel park golf course and no more then 5 mins from TPC. 2 nights $300. Problem is it's a weekend so prices get jacked.

And you'll smell like a chimney after staying there. But the location can't be beat (unless, of course, you're staying at the JW Marriot).

Anyone planning on playing extra rounds before or after?

I could probably be persuaded to play a round on Friday.

I spend one night there during MM and yes you will smell like grandma smoker, but location location location.

Thanks for the tips guys. As for round, I would love to but I thought about it and I won't have any irons haha. I will only be flying there with my driver, three wood, wedges and putter. If someone had an extra set of irons I could play with then Friday could be a possibility.

Hey I've got a set of C200s you could borrow!

Haha well hot damn!

Campilobaxter, what's the weather like that time of year? I'm guessing it's still pretty warm and be in the 80s? Maybe low 90s? Not sure if it'll be similar to here in South Carolina or not.

Mid 90s and dry.

Ooooh that's nice!

Bought my ticket the other day! Will be arriving 1030 vegas time. Gives me plenty of hours to do whatever before dinner. Going to work on finding hotel next so if another person or persons would like to go in on a room together just let me know and PM me what you're looking to do price wise.

Anyone interested in a post event round (later Sunday afternoon)?
I was thinking about trying to get an extra round in with the new sticks before heading home.

Sorry, missed this the first time around.

What he said. I am often still out on the lake in October. Water is warm (still) and the temps are great. Weather can turn quickly around here though, so if it dives to the 70s, I wouldn't be surprised.

I mean I would love to play a second round on Sunday, but isn't there a dinner that evening? Or is it more of like a final lunch right after the round?

I think it's a lunch/cool down at the course.

After the round we have food and drinks for everybody. If people want to go play somewhere after that or during that, fine by us. but it will be the last time to hang with the folks from wilson and chat product so we think that is more important than racing to a tee time.

Totally up to each person though. We ask that they tell us ahead of time, since we pay by the head for meals.

Oh I'm definitely not going to miss post round food and drinks

Agreed, no way I'm missing that.

Definitely after lunch/drinks and talking about the products with W/S team.

OK, getting my travel stuff taken care of. I'll be coming in late-morning on Friday and departing crack-of-dawn on Monday morning, it looks like. Booking at MGM Grand, with 2 Queen beds. PM me if looking for a roommate.

EDIT: I lied. LOL. I'm going to get the room at a regular hotel, and save some coin. Offer still stands for sharing the room, though.

Paging @PapaJohick ...

Right now I'm planning on driving myself...still working out when I'm coming and going though.
For those flying, I believe Lyft and Uber are available.

Correct. After a little legal battle with the taxi cab authority, both are up and running.

Everything booked but rental car.

Might do that tonight as well.

Oh, Camp... I planned on staying with you (We ARE teammates!)
