When I saw them doing the fittings one player was pounding his Taylormade M? driver. I overheard him say he was going to stick with it for now. So I think they have the option of playing their own equipment.

Saw more female golfers hitting balls than male golfers, but could have just been the time I saw them as they seemed to be finishing up by the time I left.
 
They for sure have the choice to use their own. When it comes to drivers and woods it would not surprise me to see many of them not switch.
