As the game of golf continues to grow, players around the world are beginning to realize the importance of a healthy lifestyle when it comes to playing their best. As part of the effort to encourage good nutrition, both on and off the course, IQPLUS Golf Bar has partnered with Women on Course, one of the leading organizations that promotes the numerous benefits of golf.
Currently in their fifth year of hosting events, Women On Course’s community has grown to 52,000 women golfers in more than 30 cities across the U.S. In recognition of the partnership, IQPLUS will be supplying each golfer playing in any events hosted by Women on Course during the year with IQPLUS Golf Bars. That means around 4,000 participants throughout 75 Signature Events, 300 Play Days, Spa Days, and three-day resort weekends will get to experience the advantages offered by the healthy snack. In addition, IQPLUS will send a speaker to selected tournaments to discuss the importance of nutrition and healthy living.
For Donna Hoffman, the president and founder of Women on Course, it was an easy decision to form the partnership - all it took was one taste. "After sampling the IQPLUS Golf Bar, my golf bag will never be without one," she said. "Besides being delicious, the nutritional value is important for a round on the course. We are all about promoting a healthy lifestyle and partnering with IQPLUS foods is an added benefit to our program."
Women on Course offers female golfers with a wide variety of opportunities that extends well beyond the course. At the organization's numerous events, women can meet other like-minded individuals and reap the social, business and fitness benefits of the game. Whether a beginner or a seasoned golf veteran, Women on Course events welcome players of all skill levels to be a member.
As for the IQPLUS Golf Bar, research has shown that eating the nutritious snack before or during a round can significantly improve the quality of one's play. Along with a pleasing taste, the golf bar has been proven to increase accuracy off the tee by as much as 20 percent. The
