So I was just doing a random search for new golf courses to potentially play in British Columbia, when I came upon the Lillooet Sheep Pasture Golf Course, in Lillooet BC.

In the category of things that completely blew my mind today, it is a golf course built on an actual operating sheep farm. Apparently, the sheep form part of the hazards on the course.

I guess it really is true, that if you build it, they will come. Of course in this case, Im thinking that refers to the sheep.

Hard to imagine but there is an old rundown course 15 miles or so from where I live that has some sheep and a few goats running around. The best part of the place though is a sign outside the so called clubhouse that says;

Carts - $4.50 per 9 holes.
Cart that runs - $5.50 for 9 holes.

I've seen carts just sitting on the course with no one around. Not a place I'll visit anytime soon.....LOL

Lillooet is so beautiful and peaceful. Perfect place to play a nice round of golf.

Lillooet, just jumped to my want to play courses before I die!
