For as long as I've been playing, I've always been a ball-attacker type of guy instead of a "swinger", if that makes sense. In my mind, I view the swing as over once I hit the ball... and I can't help it. Sure, I still follow through, but it's just momentum from my down swing.

Are there any drills or anything that can help me swing through the ball rather than attacking it? My putting has improved immensely since doing it there, but the full swing is a whole different animal.

Try finishing with your right shoulder pointing at the target - solves several issues.

I'd look at Darrell Klassen's videos re: Power Point

He is so right about how higher handicap players "release their power into the golf ball" rather than "past" the ball. Here's a vid explaining himself, but there are some great vids about just this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2uBCbhf54k

My Orange Whip really makes me swing through the ball when practicing with it...
