I agree on the family part & while that wasn't right either and it arguably did more damage to the kids, it was contained within his "family".... This latest allegation is him tearing up another family independent of his own.

Trust me I don't live in a glass house & im not on my moral high horse, but I have a line & it was crossed in my eyes. Inflicting damage to yourself or being destructive to your own situation is one thing, but doing it to another family, arguably destroying that relationship in the manner in which these allegations detail is a whole other transgression IMO.

I also agree he could get anyone he wanted so why her? Knowing it's a fellow tour players wife (however rocky that relationship was). She's not without fault either, but this show more of TW's ego and the false sense of reality he lives in.

They are peers. They run in the same circles, interact on the golf course and (potentially) play on the same team. It's close enough.
 
Maybe Tiger should retire from golf and try out as a porn star. His stage name could be Humper Woods ?

To answer your middle paragraph, and I could be completely wrong but I think it was pushed onto Tiger. I think the married, father life was pushed on him by the people around him. For someone to act the way he does I don't believe it's what he wanted. I think it's who was surrounding him wanted. I feel as if his "camp" felt as if it was time for him to grow up and portray the family man image so he did. Take a guy like Derek Jeter. Same situation as Tiger. Good looking guy, professional athlete and all the money in the world, but Jeter never married so he could do whatever he wanted. Everyone knew and knows Jeter was a player, but he always got a pass because he never claimed to be something he wasn't. He sent girls home with gift baskets every morning after sleeping with them for crying out loud and no one ever cared, again because he didn't lie to his fan base and claim he was something he wasn't. I think that married like was pushed on Tiger and he went through with it when he never should have because clearly he was never ready.
 
Was this report really in The National Enquirer? And people are taking it as fact? Don't they report bigfoot and UFO abductions too?

Fwiw I think they were on the forefront with the first scandal along with TMZ... Could be wrong, but think they also reported it

Based on the stuff the NE used to bring to Howard Stern's show they have a lot of embedded celebrity informants watching every airport/nightclub/casino/ski resort/ etc and they will find out the dirty deeds. TMZ has surpassed them but it's a huge market.

...and I don't think y'all realize what a sex addict is he can't "will" himself out of it for the sake of his "children" lol. This is a guy that has NO other vices be it gambling, drinking, drugs, random gunplay or running a dog concentration camp his only hobbies were taking scalps on the golf course buying huge boats/houses and getting freaky with whoever would be down. Obviously he can't do #1 anymore so that leaves #2 and #3. He's made obvious attempts at LT relationships but the inner freak still controls him. I assume Tiger could have had some better handlers and assistants to keep people paid and quiet though if he wanted to be more like Michael Jordan but as we heard from Tiger's voice mails, he's still a 12 year old nerd irl.
 
For what its worth after checking out The National Enquirer website they are reporting that Robin Williams death was a murder, and that Bobby Christina was also murdered as well. Some very interesting stories there. Just me but I don't think their "reporting" is worth the paper its printed on.
 
Tiger is at 3 Under through 12! Havent seen this in awhile!
 
I read a piece dead spin put up yesterday that included the texts that Eldrick was sending the pornstar back during hookergate. I couldn't even finish reading them. To think he was saying what he was saying to her while his wife and kids were at home is just sickening.

Except my choice in cheeseburger doesn't result in a media firestorm, my co-workers hating me, and potential loss of millions of dollars in sponsorships.

If my choice in cheeseburger could affect my standing in my office, of what people thought of me, could cost me millions (or tens of millions) of dollars, or could result in me coming under intense media scrutiny, damn straight I'm only going for the gourmet burger.

It's obviouly a rag, but they did break the original Tiger story back in 2009. Lots of folks said the same thing back then that you are saying now.

Not that we'll necessarily ever find out if it's true or not.

They broke the original Tiger story, and apparently had known about it for years but had buried the story to get Tiger to appear in other publications owned by the same publishing group (which is shady in itself).

But, as someone else pointed out, spying on celebs is big business. If I remember right, I think NE knew of the original story because they had a car following Tiger around and eventually caught him shagging some woman in his SUV in a parking lot. I would not be shocked if this were true and NE reported it first.

And a detail like her flying on his plane to Seattle and staying at his house is the kind of thing that should be easy to verify (or disprove). Seems like an odd detail to include in a story that was made up.
 
Watching Tiger highlights and I think my favorite part is the turtle cruising across the fairway in front of the green on 16. I think the turtle made me smile more than the birdie putt.
 
TW may eff around and win this week just to give everyone the finger about the latest tabloid news.
