What is something that a playing partner/golf buddy does that irks/annoys you?

We were playing a 4 man scramble and on one of the par four holes the four of us hit up onto the green. Three of us thought my ball was closest to the pin but the 4th guy argued that his ball was closer and it should be used instead of my ball. Then he stepped off both balls to see which is closer. Problem is when he stepped off his ball he took big long steps and much shorter steps when stepping off my ball in order to try convince us that his ball was closer. The three of us just looked at each other as to say, what a jerk and in order to prevent the argument from going further we let him have it his way and used his ball.

With all these replies of what little quirks people do ... makes me realize why I don't watch people. I turn away and don't watch their technique very often ... I just wait for the sound of the ball at impact just so I can watch the ball flight.
