I agree that it looks like a putter.

If Lefty is involved, though, you presume it would be a wedge.

Well according to Callaway, Phil named the mack daddy after testing it for the first time. Maybe he's involved with a new wedge

Perhaps the green is nothing more than the color of the background of something that has holes in it
 
When I see green, I see The Masters! Doubt they would tease something this soon though for an April tournament. Almost looks like the bounce on a wedge but my guess is a Putter!
 
Looks like the back of a wedge to me but I don't understand why there would be ports in a wedge other than swing weighting purposes. I could see that being the back of a putter too but that would look too much like the dots on a Scotty.
 
Maybe an 8802 style with some masters green "tour" dots on the tail/flange?
 
Hmmmmm, this has my attention. My guess with Phil involved is a new wedge.
 
Color me intrigued. Kind of hoping it is a putter.

Hoping it's a putter. I remember his Yonex PM wedges he designed. I loved them, apparently he didn't.
 
I'm guessing something to do with a wedge. Why? I have no idea...that's why it's a guess.
 
My money is on it being a wedge. The green has peaked my interest even more.

My first thought was putter. The shape and green looks like the back flange of a putter. But the mention of Phil's crazy idea makes me think it can't be a putter. How about a specialized club like a chutter?
 
Speciality wedge? Like a Callaway and Phil version of a smart sole.
 
I can't wait to read the reaction from everyine when this is announced.
 
I'm going to guess they aren't ports but are instead raised bubbles on the sole for short game turf interaction voodoo magic purposes. As if Lefty even need help there.
 
I'm sure it will be cool and available in RH only.. Haha
