I will update this post with more info and thoughts but what I can quickly start to say is this is my first callaway driver, and it is amazing.

I am hitting the ball longer without as much effort, and straighter. When I have had my miss which is s slice, the ball still went 260 yards on average. And was still left pkayable.

I have the regular version and not the sub zero. My shaft is fitted to me, so not the stock shaft as i am aware, but it is the aldila rogue max 65s. It works great for my swing, allows good spin numbers and penetrating ball flight.

The jailbreak tech is legit, and gives more ball speed and it shows. The numbers don't lie, and this thing has them. Lower spin, straighter flight, and an average of 5 mph more ball speed off the same swing speed over and over is what I saw on mine.

I have seen an average distance of 275 yards with this driver, whereas my old driver would average 250 yards. Sure I could pop the occasional super long drive with the old driver I had, but not as effortlessly as with this driver.

With my old driver, I could hit 280 downwind, after swinging out of my shoes literally. This driver does that distance easily without help from the wind and I don't have to kill the ball and swing out of my shoes to do it.

I had a few people hit it during my last round, and one of the guys on the few shots he took, hit 40 yards father than his current driver. He was averaging 220 and the few shots he hit with this was 260.

I hit a huge drive with this myself, hitting 325 yards, with a bit of roll, but it carried for around 295 yards of that easy. It was a bit downhill, but not by much. And was a left to right wind.

This driver is forgiving, sounds great, feels great, and it has allowed me to hit more fairways than ever. My last round, I hit 87 percent of the fairways I used it on during 9 holes, and 70 percent of the time on the other 9 holes.

I cannot say enough about this and will have More thoughts to come, but. Enjoy some in hand pics I took just now.

You need to go and hit this and see for yourself, it's amazing and when callaway says this is going to be the best driver ever released, believe it. Because I have seen first hand how this club performs, and have compared it to a few other drivers already, and this driver is 100 percent better than all of them from my experiemce.

This has proved to be a good night to be up with a restless kiddo! I'm excited to see everyone's thoughts on this club roll in, it sounds like it will be a big one!

For you guys who got to experience it, which new technology do you think had the biggest impact on distance? On forgiveness?

I love the look of that crown. I liked when Cobra did the bit of composite showing but this one just looks better. The jailbreak tech sounds interesting and looking forward to reading a lot more thoughts on the club.

The day has finally arrived. Both GBB Epic and GBB Epic SZ look great at address and the graphics, while noticeable at address, are not a problem once you get swinging the clubs. After a few swings you barely even notice the graphics. Looking forward to reading each of the 12 Team Unity members' reviews on their time with their GBB Epic/Epic SZ.

This has to be one of the business crowns I have seen from Callaway. Not opposed to it just didn't expect it.

Those that have hit are raving so you know I need to take a few passes.

For someone that had played with me a decent amount I think you can attest to the difference this driver makes for me. The one comment you made about our round the other day was you couldn't believe how accurate I was with it.
This could not be more true. The biggest thing with this driver for me if just how accurate I am. The driver is longer than what I was playing but more importantly it is consistently longer. My misses are no longer dead and no longer WAY behind.

Jailbreak is real and a huge leap in driver tech that is going to shock some people in hand.

I think the crown looks really good person I do agree in pictures it can come across as a lot. That said in person it is hardly noticeable I think the club sets up perfectly. The fade to carbon adds a little something and the green accents are subtle imo.

This is one that will huge for you I think.

I also think it is important to note while I got fit into the Epic Sub Zero to drop spin a hair the normal Epic is low spin as well. I could have easily gamed it and it really came down to personal preference my spin numbers were pretty darn good with the Epic as well as the Epic SZ.

Totally agree Ron, your accuracy was impressive and the disatance was eye opening.

I am really happy thinking about putting one in the bag after your display of awesomeness
