    Time to start prepping! Range session Friday after work, focusing mostly on short game (greenside bunkers, putting, short chips.)

    I have a list of priorities that are gearing my practice focus for this event...

    1. Work on distance control out of the greenside bunkers.
    2. Work on distance control and ballstriking consistency on chip shots from different lies. I have a tendency to get real handsy on downhill or sidehill lies.
    3. SLOW DOWN THE SWING JUST A TOUCH!!! Work on a smoother transition therefore controlling dispersion throughout the round.
    4. Putting: My lag putting is pretty good. I just need to make more of those birdie opportunities I have inside of 10'.
    5. Course Management: Going for it isn't always the answer. And with my distance, driver isn't always the answer either. lol
    6. Once the location is set, find the best bbq joint in the area.

    Still am thinking about this every few hours. Wonder where and when its going to be?

    I hope my prep includes practice rounds on the battle ground where this great event takes place. If I can't do that I'll probably just watch a lot of School of Golf. Getting a lot of swing thoughts in my head before a big event always works out well.

    Or...And I am just throwing this out there to follow these steps

    1. Smear flowers all over your hand.
    2. Put hand in a vice
    3. Put bee's nest next to hand.
    4. Cover both hand and nest with plastic bag.
    5. Beat nest with golf club
    6. Repeat if necessary

    I wouldnt want this THP Event to be different than any others you have been to since you said you had fun. Just trying to help.

    That's probably smart. Build up a tolerance to the bees. That way I can release them upon my opponents during competition.
