Alyssa and I played a little match play this past Sunday with the loser having to clean the winner's sticks. So I just finished cleaning both sets and figured it was about time to get around to making this thread.
Still rocking the 2014 Callaway Aquadry #theGrandaddy bag:
Covered:
And uncovered:
Starting at the top of the bag with my driver(s) and fairways:
These Seamus head covers are specific tartans to where my grandparents were born in Ireland, and have their name branded on the leather patches:
The Big Bertha Alpha 815 with the Aldila Rogue Silver shaft is what I was fit into at the granddaddy by Callaway.
The XR16 is a fun little experiment that I picked up this summer, more for Alyssa, but right now it has my Project X Handcrafted LZ in it that was given to us out at the Grandaddy.
The Tour Edge 4 wood with the Accra AC75 shaft is one of the first clubs I ever had fit to me in April of 2013. When I'm swinging the club well, it is my favorite stick in the bag. I hit it equally as magnificent from either the tee or the deck. However, when I'm not swinging it well, my miss is the same as it is with the driver--maybe even more of a hook.
The 4 hybrid (I'm playing it at +2°) with the Aldila Tour Green was fit to me at the Grandaddy.
I'm still playing my Grandaddy irons as well, Callaway Apex forged, with my custom fit True Temper S300 shafts. The wedges I bought on Black Friday 2014. Hopkins CJ-1 56° (bent to 55°) with the shelf grind; and 60° with the wide grind. Both with KBS Hi-Rev shafts.
The putter is my most recent acquisition. Odyssey Metal-X-Milled 1 Wide. It's the same putter as my Grandaddy version, just a different shape:
I tend to throw things in and out of the bag at times (Heavenwood, mini-driver, PM grind), but this, for the most part, has been my gamer bag for the better part of two full seasons. I do plan on making some changes shortly, but undecided as to what.
