Purchased a set of TaylorMade RSi 1 irons with the REAX M graphite shafts. Enjoyed the clubs but was very inconsistent with the results. Fat, thin then a decent shot. I had a set of Project X 5.0 rifle & flighted steel shafts. I use to play these shafts from the mid 90's to the late 2000's. As age crept in I went to graphite shafts, then to senior/mature graphite shafts. Didn't work using the senior/mature shafts.

I had the Project X shafts installed in the TaylorMade RSi 1 irons. Went to the range yesterday and hit a small bucket with the 5,7,9 & AW. At the end of the range session I was hitting them very well. The steel Project X shafts felt so good.

Today I played them. They're a 1/4" shorter than the previous irons, Steelhead XR with MRC Fubuki AT 50 gram senior shafts, so it took a few holes till I found the sweet spot stance wise with the Project X 5.0 steel shafts. Had a great back 9 with them and can't wait to hit them again.
