Pac vs Floyd is happening

Yes they absolutely could. A driving punch into the nose, or a hook to the temple with any kind of power can 100% kill you. It doesn't take Tyson power if you hit critical areas, particularly bare knuckled. I'm not saying it's likely, but it can definitely happen.
 
Boxing is so bad these days.

I'll never forget going to the local racetrack and watching the Tyson Spinks fight.

This is just going to be a back pedal fest.

I hope pacman tags him but I don't see it happening.

Me and coworkers were talking about this fight today. It'll go the distance with little to no action. May see one guy go down for a brief moment but then it heads to the judges. Overhyped was the word being thrown around
 
This fight is coming, I can't wait. If it goes the distance I give it to Floyd but I think Pac-Man can knock him out early.
 
I'm with Freddie on this, I'm not by any means a boxing aficionado but I will be watching this fight. Manny could take him down and I think he will. Floyd is too good at defense to loose early but I think Manny's pace will prevail.

I didn't say they would be conscienctious about it. Just that there will be plenty of people not paying to watch boxing.

Have there been any actual tickets to this fight sold?

There are always people that don't watch the fight. The fight sold out in 1 minute. $1500 was the cheapest ticket, $77K the most expensive for 5th row ring side. 1000 to the general public and the rest to brokers. Promoters, vips and others.
The $1500 tickets will sell for just under $10k. PPV will also be very lucrative.
 
I hate that so many go to brokers. More regular people should have access to these kind of things. I want to see the fight, but unless I can get 3 or 4 friends to go in on the ppv with me, there's no freaking way I'm paying that much for this. 5-6 years ago, I probably would have bitten on that.

Got it. I remember hearing that early last week, they had not yet gone on-sale because there was no contract signed.

Local bar should be carrying the fight. Head to the closest Casino and watch it.

If I could justify being away for the time just for the fight that's the route I'd go. There's a few casino's nearby. I'll end up finding "alternative" methods of watching it since I'll be tied to home I'm sure.
 
Mayweather's crimes against women are truly inexcusable. PacMan releasing an album where he sings "Sometimes when we touch" is a near crime against humanity.

So the Ref is the dude that saved Mayweater from his first "knockdown" and broke the fighters up when Mayweather got hammered. And now Mayweather is making excuses and complaining about Manny's cup. Really this is going to be terrible.

Outcome is going to be the same regardless of anything outside, would have been the same 5 years ago too...
 
So happy I'm leaving town tomorrow morning. Don't want to be anywhere near this. May watch at the local bar where I'm headed tomorrow.

I don't really think it's out of line pricing wise for a big ppv sporting event
