If you could take the best parts of a player's game from multiple tour professionals and splice them into one, what would that player look like?
Only one rule. No one player can be used twice.

My creation looks like this...

Driver: Rory Mcllroy
Fairways: Henrik Stenson
Irons: Tiger Woods (In his Prime)
Wedges: Patrick Reed
Putter: Jordan Spieth

Hmmm

Driver- DJ (doesn't appear there is as much torque on DJ's body when he swings versus Jday/Rory/Tiger etc think it would lead to a longer career)
Fairways- Rory
Irons- Hogan
Wedges- Phil
Putter- Spieth
 
Fun one:

Driver: DJ
FWs: Rory
Irons: Stenson
Wedges: Zack Johnson
Putter: Spieth (or possibly Day...)

With that skill set I should be breaking 60 every weekend.

Great point. I was just telling a friend that if I was him, I'd get a swing coach and work on the lower body turn like DJ rather than his current swing....considering what Tiger is going through.

Irons: Probably Adam Scott or Matsuyama.. with a hat tip to Rory
Wedges: For creativity alone I'll give Phil the nod
Putter: Just to round it out I'll take Spieth, but when Day is on like he was last year, it's tough to ignore it.

Matsuyama was a close second or third option for me, but I went with the Legend.

Yeah I went for current players. Otherwise they'd mostly be "Tiger in his prime" haha

Driver: Bubba, only when he's on.
FW: Rory
Irons: Stenson
Wedges: DJ
Putting: Speith

Rory and Stenson are kind of interchangeable in those spots though. Bubba was a tough call, but when he's in control, his length and the way he can move the ball is incredible.

Bubba is second to none when he's dialed in. I've always said he has the potential to be world number one but his head isn't always in it.

I read an article sometime ago that suggested he doesn't do well with crowds and is socially awkward by nature. It's something he's not proud of, but it's a real issue for him. Interesting stuff.

I know this is just a fun thread, but I find it really interesting Speith is almost everyone's choice for putting over Tiger in his prime.
