From the gold tee's breaking 90 will be a good score.
Course be set up as a challenge but it will not beat you to death.
Plus even after a bad hole just look at the view on the next tee box will make you forget the last hole

Shoot 6600 is long for me.

I can roll with 6600 about what I normally play. 6000 is way too short I think

6600 is ok by me, I'll have fun either way!

Hole number 2. 460 yard par 4. Tough hole. You want to go down the right side off the tee. If you go left your angle to the green is tough. on your approach you can't miss left or right. Lateral on the left and dead if you are right.

It looks like they have made this hole a bit more playable by opening things up a bit on the left side. I always dreaded this hole when it was Branson Creek due to the tight fairway with trouble on the right AND left. I like the changes that have been made. I always used to play the back tees when it was Branson creek, but that was a few years ago when I played a lot more golf.....not to mention hit the ball farther. like Shane said, this course does not play as long as the yardage shows by any means......there are quite a few downhill holes. I am good for either the gold or the black tees.......Here is the scorecard for reference.

Long stick-short stick-flat stick...I like the look of both holes thus far.

I am going to skip hole 3 since it's under construction (will be a neat little par 4 in june.
Here is hole 4. It's a 180 yard par 3, plays slightly uphill and usually into the wind.
Miss is to the right as you can tell from the picture. Green has a false front so you need to carry your shot up onto the green.

Ugh, my least favorite distance.

you guys talking 6800 yards is scaring me.....maybe I will play the 6200 yard copper tees #oldshortknockerproblems

I'll join ya Tim

Time to start hole be hole on the courses, let's here thoughts on how you will play each hole.
Buffalo Ridge course.
Hole 1 is a 547 downhill par 5.
Best play is right side of fairway then layup to right side about 80 to 100 out. This give good angle to the green. Green is big with with some undulation.

Based on past experiences, driver then either 19* hybrid, 4i or 5i depending on how good I hit the driver and which way the wind is blowing at the time we tee off. This hole plays downhill slightly and is usually with the wind. The hardest part about this hole is that the green slopes from front to back......if you get too close to spin the ball and the pin is up front, you have no chance of getting close to the pin on your 3rd shot.

Eric you are correct this hole is 100 times better with the changes.
When I played it we had a Northwind (usually south in the summer) I hit 4 wood then 20 degree to front right of green and of course I 3 putted haha
