Probably been answered elsewhere, but I'm not having any luck with the search function.
So, I'm thinking of going all Niblick on the wedge side of my bag, as I was a big fan of the originals...just really fun clubs to play. I've already got the original Zip Groove 42 and 56, but I can't seem to find the 49 anywhere for a fair price. I have, however, seen the newer version a couple of times that were priced more reasonably. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, because I'm uncertain as to how the newer and older clubs will blend together. The question then is: how do the two model runs compared in terms of lie angle, head weight and shape, and appearance? I'm aware of the conforming/non-conforming difference in grooves, and I'm not too concerned with that, but are there any other differences I need to be aware of? Would the three mixed Niblicks flow together okay or would I end up with an awkward kind of setup? And were the newer versions as point-and-shoot as the originals?
Thanks in advance.
