This is a press release

Harmonix Golf Inc. is pleased to introduce its line of 'Live Head' Putters, the most scientifically advanced putter design since 1959. What's different about the Harmonix Golf Live Head Putter - EVERYTHING!

2017 becomes another milestone in golf history with the introduction of the Harmonix Live Head putter that is based on the Harmonix parallel arms design that launches the ball with zero back spin and rapid pure roll, ensuring the trajectory is not corrupted. The ball goes where you aim it - period! The Harmonix Live Head Putter has a dual loft face, 'dedicated' lie and is face-balanced. A steady vibration is established after the strike causing an audible tone and the pendulum weighting aids in a smooth follow through that discourages deceleration before impact.

The Harmonix Live Head putter is a beautiful putting instrument that incorporates several types of exotic hardwoods in the triple laminated shaft design reinforced with a pure titanium rod that extends the entire length. The all wood grips are warm and natural to the touch and a fraction of the weight of ordinary shafts.

The key advantage of the Harmonix Live Head Putter is that it works! It has been designed to deliver better and more consistent results with the added benefit of sensory feedback of sight, sound, touch and feel. All of these features combine to create a natural, synergistic experience for the user that enhances the ability to significantly reduce putts.

"Not only beautiful to look at, these 'Live Head' putters are deadly accurate when played correctly. The sound made by these exquisite putters is soft and warm - just enough to hear that crucial MOI. That is the moment you will experience the natural sound - and feel - that has been missing from any putter you have ever used before " said Dorn Beattie, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Harmonix Golf Inc.

Well that's a strange looking putter, not sure I could get over the looks on this one.

Cost is $399 I believe.

Zero backspin??? I didn't think that was possible!! Looks different, would like to hit a few putts with one just to see if the performance matches the looks!

The design does not make intuitive sense but that doesn't mean it doesn't work as advertised. I'd be interested in seeing this one reviewed.

"deadly accurate when played correctly"

what does that mean? aren't most putters deadly accurate when played correctly?

so this is a tuning fork that somebody welded a neck onto? weird.

kudos to them for trying something. but at $399 i don't know who will buy one of these.

There is always something for everyone, but I don't know who this is for. Just looks odd, not my cup of tea.

"The tapered square of the Harmonix Hosel fits perfectly into the round inset taper of the head. This creates maximum grip with minimum contact allowing the live-head to retain a greater amount of post-impact vibration. Hence, Post MOI Face Balance".

Sooooo...the shaft is connected to the head. Terrific. The rest is word salad. I wish them luck, but I can't see this taking off. Seems almost infomercialish.

who wants this? not mi mi mi mi miiiii

post... moi... face... balance...

A few thoughts:

It's a tuning fork AND a putter!

What happened in 1959?

This is such an odd mashup of Mr. Wizard and "eye of newt, wing of bat technology" that I would feel compelled to roll one if ever I saw one in a store.

Not a big fan of the looks of this from the picture.

It is a lot of do. Wonder what the sol looks like?

Vivaldi putter designs out there, this one is unique. No Haydn that.

well that's different. Looks like an oversized tuning fork for the head. trippy setup. Very curious how it feels as the ball is struck. Just very curious over all.

I see what you did there, clever!

I kept looking for "... with a face too hot to Handel!" or "Your scores will get sMahler and sMahler every time you bring it Bach!" or "Put this flat stick on your short Liszt!"

I'm not sure I dig the music staff milled grooves, and that comes from someone with a music degree.

I really want to try one. It sounds unique.

That is definitely different. I hope the sound it makes when you hit a ball is satisfying, given the characteristics.

Interesting. Looks like a tuning fork. Kinda intrigued to find out what sound this thing makes..

If Liberace designed putters...

"A steady vibration is established after the strike causing an audible tone"

Absolutely no chance. Any putter that has to mention sound is automatically out in my book. I've learned from experience that is one aspect of putters I can't get over.

Initial thoughts are that it looks like a very cool show piece or something to talk to your friends about in a man cave. But that's about it, can't see this as a gamer

That "ting" sound at impact (from the video) is not appealing. This one isn't for me.

Not sure about this one at all. Very strange looking.

What the heck kind of wood is in that shaft for it to cost $400? Did they cut down cancer curing mystery trees deep in the Amazon jungle?
