Champions Tour coming to Madison WI!! University Ridge GC

Super pumped from the announcement yesterday that the Champions Tour will be in Madison starting next year. Also at a course that anyone can play. Summer rates range from $30-70's. Hosted by Stricker and American Family Insurance. Announcement link below.

I see what's going on here. Stricker is just trying to have a 'home' course for when he is champions tour eligible.

They are fun events to goto. They may not hit like the big boys anymore (although some of them can), but they are all still far better than me.

Yes it is. Stricker and Jerry Kelly (madison native) will be eligible in 2017. Great course and I have found some great daytime deals on golfnow in the past.

Very cool, I've had the pleasure of playing that course, some of the tees they could use on the holes would make it very interesting for the pros. Should make for good tv.

One of the courses I've always wanted to play but i'm never in a position to golf when i'm in that part of the state. Must change that soon. I heard the two 9's have different layouts making for an interesting experience. Glad to see some additional Wisco golf besides the majors.

Yeah the front 9 is more open while the back is more wooded.
