Hi there - aspiring club ho looking for knowledge from those of you who have more experience than I -

what I am wondering is how to leverage the great information here for my own use - particularly as it relates to fairway wood shafts. I feel like most of the testing that gets done is on wood shafts as a driver - which is obviously very important, but the characteristics I want in a fairway wood aren't always the same as that of my driver. I can tell you I like a stable tip from my driver because I am very feel conscious, but in a fairway I like to feel a lot of kick at impact. That said, I'm not sure that feeling kick from a driver shaft (upward angle of attack, not meant to really sweep the ball) is the same as feeling kick in a fairway.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Anyways, I'm not looking for specific shaft advice - simply anyone's thoughts on how they translate the reviews they see on a potential wood shaft from driver to fairway (or fairway to driver).

Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.
