The Official Rant of the Day

I hope its nothing too serious Barry.

Thanks Martin. Don't think that it is. Just some type of stubborn pull or strain in the high chest/shoulder area on her right side that won't heal. She has had pain on and off for 4 months from it. Nothing in particular is triggering it. Can start a few days after exercise or after nothing at all. Can go a few days without any pain and then it will come back. Really strange.

Go back to the same Orthopedic doctor that wouldn't see her, hand him the bills and ask him if he'll see her now.

Boy do I feel like it. And the kicker is our insurance is not supposed to require a referral. I should be able to make an appointment with any specialist we think we need.

Well, my day went from OK to in the junk pile pretty quick.

3rd and final round of IVF transfer didn't take.... so now I get to break the news to the wife (since she didn't want the bad news while she was at work). Hopefully we can get things figured out, make an informed decision, and make some plans for the future.

Absolutely dreading this conversation.

Pipe Delimited text files are awful. So many extra steps to format a file this way. :comp: :banghead:
formatting it to pipe delimeted or from to something else?

Wife and I didn't go IVF but we did several IUI's. Went to a fertility doc and he said he'd give us a 7% chance of getting pregnant with his help. Less than 1% chance of doing it on our own. At that point, after spending thousands on drugs and procedures, I broached the subject of adoption. She was receptive and we started the paperwork. A month later, she was pregnant naturally and now we have a 10 month old healthy kiddo. We're still pursuing adoption, but potentially the stress of trying to get pregnant was relieved by the adoption talk and helped us conceive naturally.

Also, look into DHEA. It's approved in Europe but not in the United States. Three friends, including my wife, were on it when they got pregnant. You can buy it OTC in any drug store, usually in the vitamin/supplements aisle. Obviously, discuss this with your/her doctor.

Hope it works out for you two, it's a frustrating process and very emotional.

Followed a car towards a stop light today, they roll down their window and toss assorted trash out. We then pulled up next to him, rolled down our window and asked why he would possibly do that "ya ya man, it fell out"

Piece of crap

I forget you can't beat these fools with your night stick any longer. I hate people that litter

How freaking lazy is that. Sheesh, just hold it till you get home or to a store. Most stores have trash cans right in front. I hate people that do that crap. Littering is just straight up laziness. :/

22 months with my phone and I knock it off the table tonight and it lands screen down right on the hardwood floor. Can you say spider web.......

It's just so pointless, and like you said lazy. Disrespectful to everyone that lives in your community.

My awesome, favorite beer, driver headcover find on flea bay got lost in the mail. No more in stock.

Finding the right tennis pro to teach my kiddos is proving to be more work than I thought. How times have changed.

If you remove the word great from your sentence then I'll agree with you. :D

Haven't taught in over 15 years and I have to work!!! They need really good basics right now that will stay with them forever. I plan to supplement their lessons with me going out with them but they need some solid foundation which is really important. To get the best instructors you have to basically fill out an application.

Wait, Big Time has to fill out an application? Something is wrong with that.

I Showed up at work today without a belt... and it has all been downhill from there.

Reversible. If you've forgotten a belt, you need to feel shame that you had to resort to that, yet not look incomplete. The look on your face will tell the rest of the story.

If you were bigger, you'd understand the other problems of a reversible belt. One hole keeps the belt too loose and it hangs down. Next hole is too tight and buckle pulls away from the belt and makes noise and pinches your gut. Fat is stronger than the spring holding the spinning buckle on.

I'm super anal about making sure my shirt, belt and pants line up, I usually check multiple times before leaving . I was too sick this morning to care apparently. Good news is I had time to run home before my first appointment.

Onboarding new contractors is a pain

All the best to you both with whatever you all pursue from here. Not much more frustrating than wanting to bring a child into your world and not being able to do so...took us IVF to get our first.
