Put unhittable club back in the bag?

Anyone ever go back to a club(s) you couldn't hit after vastly improving your swing? I have re-clubbed twice since I "retired" these clubs.
I had some Lynx hybrid irons I was unable to hit and have been in the garage for about 10 years. Put one in the bag (5) just to see and I was nutting the ball with it on the range. Now I have a club to fill the 175yd gap. Thinking of trying the 3 and 4 next. Would add lots to my game if I can hit those.

Yup. A driver. After playing without one for about a year I threw one in my bag for my most recent round. It came back out immediately after the round. I have no business swinging a driver.
