This our new addition to the family. His name is buddy. He is finally here,yeah!
 
I think my dogs watched too many WW2 documentaries this weekend. They are attempting to build an elaborate trench complex near our back door. I guess I'm going to get fill dirt today.

Not my pet, but helping this guy get back to the lake and into some fresh water. He looks dried out and appears to just be too tired to keep moving.

Update... Snapping turtles are no joke. So after s few attempts to pick him up, I grabbed a shovel to help him out. He is now resting comfortably in the pond.

Good call on the shovel.

I was visiting with my dad and step mom yesterday and found out they have "the appointment" scheduled for their 14 year old Akita. The day soured a little after that, but I think it's time. She suffered and recovered from a stroke. Tomorrow will not be a good day for them.

Hahaha, I love it Pete, my white boxer adored the water. The sprinkler and a kiddy pool were like heaven to him.

He is so much cuter in person. Because he has such a dark head he doesn't photograph well, but the minute you see him in person you realize how cute he is, and how sweet he is. He is honestly the sweetest dog I have ever met.
