The worst thing happend today was a completely easy fairway ball I drove 240 yards on a short par 4, the hole is normally 300 but today the flag is in front and bottom tier green. So I had 55 yards I thought an easy gap wedge 4 oclock swing would do it. I thought this is an easy bird and even thought about as long as I do not double hit I'm home free. I don't have a video but I hit the ball and then my club hits the ball again at face high during the finish and the ball went about 20 yards... I ended that par 4 with a 7...
I double hit once every 10 rounds or so from green side fringe chips but this has never happend before. What are some tricks to prevent double hitting while chipping/pitching? Any videos or thoughts? Thank you very much!
