The league I joined based my HC on the first round of league play at 24. Normally my HC was about 15, and early this season I had a slight back injury plus the condition of the course being in horrible shape my early scores were in the high 90's. Therefore using my assigned league HC which was tabulated into my score last week I came in 10 under par with a 62. Being new to this league without having a handicap established from last years scoring like others who are return players from last year has allowed me to place up at the top in money winnings thus far. In many ways it feels as though I have been given an unfair advantage over other veteran league players.
