For you iPhone photogs, here is a pretty nifty device/case.

Taking a case and making it offer controls is pretty neat. Shutter and dials that work with the built in app. You can adjust all of the settings including ISO, Shutter Speed, White Balance, flash and focus. Five physical controls total.

It also has a cold shoe to mount an LED or whatever you would like as well as a tripod mount on the bottom.

Agreed. If you can adjust aperture from dial (I'm unsure of that), it could be a very good tool.
 
Gotta say, that's a pretty neat idea. Would rather have an actual DSLR, but this appears to be a convenient stop-gap measure.
 
Thanks for the info. This would be outstanding for vacations. Now you are not lugging two pieces of electronics around and make sure they are both charged.
