Not a seafood fan at all but I tried HogFish right after it had been speared and cooked while I was visiting St. Petersburg and it was phenomenal.

Troy,
Next time you are down this way, we need to get some Grouper sandwiches.

Not sure if you tried dugeness crab, but was disappointed in the expensive price and taste. Cooked easy but wasn't great at all. Was told a local grocery store will steam and prepare a lobster tail for you to eat right at the store deli. Have to try that out, if good I might by 3 or 4 of these and eat in one sitting. Love lobster

another thread by the Gasman... Love that name, where did he go!

Seafood rocks! I could eat it everyday

Fish Tacos when done right are the best

Seafood Thread

I love Seafood and in the area I'm living, I'm blessed. We actually have an awesome place just up the road that the BBC ranks as one of the best beach restaurants in the world, Phil's Fish House. Queues constantly out the door, but the wait is worth it, especially for their awesome cioppino. I still think it's difficult to beat a clam chowder in a good old sour dough bowl though. I love cockles too, but I don't think they are really eaten over here, at least I've yet to see them.
