Hi folks, I'm new to THP. I live in Amador County. If you know CA gold country at all you know that Amador has a lot to love but the golf options are not one of them! We have many courses in the three counties surrounding us but Castle Oaks in Ione is our only local spot. Mace Meadows in Pioneer is supposed to reopen this fall under new ownership.
I'm a Navy reservist and travel several times a year. I take my clubs with me whenever possible and I've had the good fortune to play some great courses around the country. I'm also looking for some good local instruction. If you're a fellow sailor, Amador resident, or can suggest a good local instructor PM me!
