It looks like it will be a damp week for the players at the PGA in Charlotte. They allowed anyone to come to the merchandise tent this weekend and buy clothing or other souvenirs. The merchandise area is over 45,000sqft and every brand merchandised their stuff beautifully. They already put a hurting on my credit card.
The Wells Fargo event held here each year is a big deal but this is on steroids. I usually go right by Quail Hollow after I leave the Y from my workout but that street is closed to traffic.
A workout buddy who works at a local hotel said Charlie Hoffman checked in last night. I told her I had watched him play the final round in Akron earlier last night. She said he and his kids looked pretty sleepy. Should be a fun week. Darius Rucker singing on Wednesday and balls in the air Thursday morning.Should be a fun week in the Queen City.
