2012 Player of Year - What Say You?

Current standings are what they are. I hope Rory runs away with it based on the next few weeks.
 
I'm curious and to lazy to look it up myself, when is the last time a player won player of the year that didn't win a major that year?

Last year.
 
I've been rooting for Rors for a while, but just a personal vote. Good things to come from this young man in the years to come, especially if he holds true to himself.

well what do you know, the last 3 winners have actually not won a major. Before that we have to go back to 1995 when greg norman won poy to find a poy that hadn't won a major that year. I'm sure some of that had to do with some guy named after a jungle cat winning the award 9 times
