Last month we featured the launch of the new Tour World line from Honma. If you missed all of the fun technical information in this preview you can find it here. The irons immediately drew some questions and we wanted to dive in a bit deeper.
On this episode of TESTED! we have the Honma TW757Vx irons. This video starts off with an overhead view going over some basic tech and then we hop into the THP Tech Studio hitting bay. You see all of the swings before we breakdown all of the data.
The Honma TW757Vx set is bringing some distance in a package that is going to be appealing to a fairly discerning golfer. Is it something you are going to be testing? Just as Dan asked during the video, what is your experience with Honma?
Strong lofted for sure, but as you can see in the video above, ball flight was hitting the window we look for. A look below gives some technical specs of the irons we tested.
These are available for preorder now at $250 per iron with a ship date of June 1st, 2022. For more information on this set or any of the other lines from Honma, check out their website at us.honmagolf.com.
Ohhhh that should be fun.
Good luck!
yeah, I’m looking forward to it. Oddly enough the one part that I’m excited to check in on(again) is these being a smoother feel through the turf than the C722.
Thats when you know its official. Looking forward to some thoughts.
that’s always the official move. They were in the car last night, but I did not have time to swap the tags. So that delayed their re-emergence until today’s action.
Very cool. Those are great looking irons. Look forward to seeing what data you see using them!
Just had a lot of confidence in these yesterday and I can’t wait to see how it carries or, if it carries over, to tomorrow’s scramble round.
Based on some irons I’ve played in the past few years, they hit a good spot for me. They are a little smaller/thinner esp at the top from my Apex 19 irons I played for a bit. Smaller looking than the C722 irons I had earlier in the year. What I like is the sole, it doesn’t seem to get stuck for me, which I experienced a little with the TE irons. It’s a small difference, but enough for me to feel that on certain shots.
Profile-wise, they kind of remind me of the MP-18 irons I had around.
