Last month we featured the launch of the new Tour World line from Honma. If you missed all of the fun technical information in this preview you can find it here. The irons immediately drew some questions and we wanted to dive in a bit deeper.
On this episode of TESTED! we have the Honma TW757Vx irons. This video starts off with an overhead view going over some basic tech and then we hop into the THP Tech Studio hitting bay. You see all of the swings before we breakdown all of the data.
The Honma TW757Vx set is bringing some distance in a package that is going to be appealing to a fairly discerning golfer. Is it something you are going to be testing? Just as Dan asked during the video, what is your experience with Honma?
Strong lofted for sure, but as you can see in the video above, ball flight was hitting the window we look for. A look below gives some technical specs of the irons we tested.

These are available for preorder now at $250 per iron with a ship date of June 1st, 2022. For more information on this set or any of the other lines from Honma, check out their website at us.honmagolf.com.
just some messing around last night in the backyard and hitting a ball into a net to get some swings in. I pulled one of these out, and it’s the first time I’ve hit them since the 722 irons came in. But man, the feel of these is top-notch. I feel I could easily throw them back into the bag and not skip a beat.
after spending a lot of time with the c722 irons, these are officially making their way back into the bag tonight. I have league play tonight and and a scramble on Saturday before I toss the bag to the side for 10 days(vacation mode activated).

yeah, I’m looking forward to it. Oddly enough the one part that I’m excited to check in on(again) is these being a smoother feel through the turf than the C722.
ShotScope tags have officially been swapped over.

that’s always the official move. They were in the car last night, but I did not have time to swap the tags. So that delayed their re-emergence until today’s action.

Very cool. Those are great looking irons. Look forward to seeing what data you see using them!
Man I hit some incredible shots tonight in league. Set up 2 birdies inside 7 feet and had two other great looks that I missed. The last hole is a 420 yard par 4. Perfect drive down right side of fw, left with 162 to the flag. Took out an 8 iron, pitch about 7-10 feet shy and ended up pin high inside 20 feet. That shot felt great and was the best approach I’ve hit on that hole in some time. Super happy I made the decision to throw these back in the bag and can’t wait for Sat.
I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome back round with these irons. Only 9 holes last night for league play, but they performed beautifully. Set up back-to-back birdies early in the round by being inside 7 feet on a par 3(lost nearest to the pin by less than a foot), and tap in range on the next hole. The shot that has me smiling though was my final approach. The par 4 is the #1 cap hole on the course and plays 425 yards. Hit a perfect drive down the right side of the FW that left me 163 to a middle-back pin. Took out an 8 iron and hit it pin high, in that 15-20 foot range. I stink and didn’t give the putt a chance, but it was one of the best approach shots I’ve hit into that green in quite some time.
Just had a lot of confidence in these yesterday and I can’t wait to see how it carries or, if it carries over, to tomorrow’s scramble round.
yeah I love these irons. We are in a great spot right now. Loving the consistency I’m seeing. I’ve also adopted a bump and run shot with a 9 iron that has led to some improved short game success, including a nice chip-in on my last round.

love hearing this! are these a profile you typically gravitate to?

Based on some irons I’ve played in the past few years, they hit a good spot for me. They are a little smaller/thinner esp at the top from my Apex 19 irons I played for a bit. Smaller looking than the C722 irons I had earlier in the year. What I like is the sole, it doesn’t seem to get stuck for me, which I experienced a little with the TE irons. It’s a small difference, but enough for me to feel that on certain shots.
Profile-wise, they kind of remind me of the MP-18 irons I had around.
