THP had a chance to speak with the folks at Ping about the iPing Putter App and what new features it has.

This app makes me want an iphone. Seriously cool and looks like you can now have some fun with it.

I like the coaching feature. It’s great to be able to judge your progress over time.

Good stuff, I did not know about the “skins game” feature, sounds like fun. I really wish this app was available for my android.

I think it is pretty darn cool how PING has embraced the technology available and created an application that not only helps golfers but something that you can actually have fun with. I need to update my iPhone so that I can take advantage of this!!

I have been meaning to pick up a iPing cradle. I might have to do that this weekend and get to the putting green. Thanks for the great interview.

Good info, really need to grab one of these up. Not only had Ping made the product, they have given quite a few updates to the app to keep supporting it and adding features.

Thanks for all the info. I have the app on my phone, but now it’s just down to buying the cradle. I hope to get it soon and try it out! Great interview THP!

Now will this work with other putters as in a Scotty or Taylormade? and or Belly putters?

I use this on my odyssey #9 mallet putter and works great. Helps a ton to aid with control on your puts. Its awesome! Well worth the buy.

I picked up the cradle several months back…just need to start using it more.
