The Hackers Paradise is no stranger to the ladies apparel brand Lela Designs. Back in late 2008 THP had a review on their latest arrivals and we came away pretty impressed by the entire line. They are back for our Fall Fashion Preview this year and we were thrilled to show off the three outfits that they sent over for our readers to take a look at.
From the company:
Lela Designs is again entering Fall 09’ with an array of fresh, bold knits and custom matching plaids. Lela Designs brings you the latest in eco-friendly and organic knits and wovens. We scour the globe to find the latest and greatest in fashionable, functional and sustainable fabrics that you will not find anywhere else!
Fall 09’ offers you two new collections the first being “Pineapple Expressâ€. Pineapple Express is an excellent collection for the ladies who like to look great on the golf course as well as the “19th Holeâ€. This collection offers bold pinks, reds, and vivacious blues in certified organic cotton that are a perfect match for our plaids (which are always our top sellers). We also brought back two favorites from past collections (we received a lot of emails asking for these two styles to be brought back) which are the Kasia dress and the Joanna Jacket. The Joanna jacket and Kasia dress gives you an easy transition from the office to the links and/or “links to loungeâ€. We don’t want to forget our custom, certified organic cotton bottoms which are extremely soft and durable. We design this plaid to match our tops perfectly!
Our second collection for Fall is “Santa Annaâ€. This collection offers our “eco-tech†fabric which gives you UVA protection as well as great breathability and wicking capabilities. This palette offers pink, blue, charcoal and berry (berry has been a top selling color). Our Madeleine Pant which is also featured in this collection is a great slack for those ladies who prefer a longer pant and with this perfect fit the Madeleine pant will look great on a size 2 to 16. We also have a new fabric we are offering for Fall which is a recycled PET (which is made from clear, recycled pop bottles). This is an outerwear fabric that looks and feels super luxurious but is an extremely strong fiber that will stand the test of time. This fabric is being offered in the Corrie Anne Jacket and Emma vest both of which are offered in a winter cream color and iron.
Outfit #1
I have said this before and I will say it again, I have fallen in love with golf dresses. This plaid knee length dress in black has gorgeous purple, white, and pink stitching. The ruffle collar and sleeves adds the perfect feminine touch that takes this dress from day wear to night wear with ease. The plaid pattern and dark colors makes this a very figure friendly dress that women of all shapes and sizes will adore.
Outfit #2
There is nothing classier than a sleek pair of black pants. These trousers from Lela is no exception. The satin lining on the pockets and oversized buttons on the front add a touch of elegance to these pants.
The Hackers Paradise is no stranger to the blue top featured in this outfit. This signature shirt has followed Lela from season to season by popular demand. The ribbed collar and splash of ‘bling’ makes this a must have year in and year out.
Outfit #3
This final outfit bright colors with simple concepts. The colorful skort has a spandex feel which helps accentuate your lady curves. The long sleeved white top is simple in design but really pops with the addition of the ‘blinged out’ button.
Wrap Up
It has been almost a year since we last looked at Lela Designs and it was definitely worth the wait. When you are dealing with a company that is dedicated to eco-friendly golf apparel, you just hope that the style is up to par. In this case the look, color palette, and overall style is wonderful and the socially responsible company is icing on the cake. I really like that 3rd outfit. The color of the skort is tremendous and the bling just adds some interest. Can you tell me a little more about the dress? How thick is the material?
I was unaware of this line till reading this. If they are as comfy as they are good looking, I may have to try them out.
Like the last person, I have not heard of this company here in AZ. But their outfits look really nice in the pictures. Thanks for the information.
I agree on the third outfit. I love subtle variations on classic golf course outfits, and that collar/button combo on the polo is great.
My wife got a shirt from them after your coverage last year and really likes it. Good looking stuff this year too.
