Proshop haul, kept it light. Hats for the wife and I, absolutely gorgeous mug and a quarter zip (shoutout to @SkiBumGolfer for pointing out the clearance rack where I found the quarterzip for $50!)

Smart man getting stuff for the wife.
Very nice
I probably still don’t know enough about shafts, but everything I have learned is from following these threads here. Funny is that people can ask me things, and I only know the answer because of THP.

That was definitely one of the things I was looking forward to a lot as I didn’t know much about shafts before. Closure rate is an interesting value to look at for me and it’s something that MRC recently started to look at. Now I just need a rental bay with a GC Quad that I can rent to get some numbers.
I knew my new mug reminded me of something. Wife has a fiddle leaf fig tree in the corner of the living room. The pot is almost identical color scheme!

that’s just meant to be. solid buy, I was trying to decide which color to buy since I saw them day 1. I ended up with the other color, but really like the blue at the top of that one. should’ve bought both

Nothing like a THP experience with the people making them to learn about shafts! I too am fairly clueless, so will be getting to get into one in the future.

Mark and Chris were non stop with information the whole time. They were very fun to hang out with and talk.
This bears repeating. I have other headcovers – NICE ones – and they don’t feel NEARLY this soft or easy to take on and off. PRG is just quality.

The headcover is so well done. I’m playing mine this weekend then it is going on my shelve!

Do you think not being used to playing with forecaddies and leaning on them has anything to do with it? I feel like the round we fell behind at Ballyhack that was a factor.
I think having the forecaddie helped. It saves time for someone like me when there is help finding my ball ? I think I got better as the rounds went on. We go to our ball check the yardage in the cart and get a number in mind and confirm when the forecaddie comes over, sometimes I changed clubs, when they suggest a different yardage based on the green and where we want to miss.

Good call – I feel like i’m going to want to share anything and everything I learn from the Titleist crew next month.
This was my first experience, I think I would’ve wanted to take more pics. I was trying to be in the moment and enjoy the experience, but felt I didn’t take as many pics as I would have liked. Take the pic, can always share later. I turned off most notifications as muchmore suggested so I can check mentions and quotes and reply/react to those sooner. Ive been going through all the posts since I got back to see what I missed.
that does make it fun though doesn’t it? hard to pull against someone for improving
Yeah was really fun seeing how well he was hitting it and being so happy after his tee shots. His enthusiasm and joy was contagious; I was happy he was playing well even when I hit bad shots. It was just such a good fit for him. Hoping to figure out my swing and find the same magic!
I am still catching up when I have time, but I have a few comments:
Great question it is there as a tour only part. There is colorways of that shaft also just fyi ?
This will be interesting to watch for in the future! Cool way of customizing your putter!

Additional info: no, no, no, no, no. Lightest they could 3D print an iron shaft is 170g.
3D printing is great for some things, but I don’t see it being great for shafts anytime soon.

Enjoy Boys….take it all in
now i gotta go check into trying MMT’s
I hit some today for the first time and they are really good.
Thoughts from the range. Make a full turn. Greens feel a bit quicker today.
Got to try jb’s 3D printer irons. They feel amazing. Shouldn’t have tried it, now I want some ?
Yeah, the 3D printed irons were VERY good! But VERY pricy, especially if you want 4-AW.

I tried those on Monday and an are they nice!
I finally made it through every post in this thread I missed during the event. So much Bertie ???
Thanks to @JB and Chris and Mark from Mitsubishi for running an incredible event and for being open books and awesome people.
Thanks to my fellow participants @Bertie Pots ?? @PiratePenguin @yoose @ddec for being a ton of fun both on the course and off and for doing such a killer job bringing this crazy amazing thing we did to the forum.
And thanks to Dormie Network and Hidden Creek for exceeding every expectation a guy could have about a golf course, accommodations and service for a golf trip. Truly exemplary!
I have a lot of golf coming up later this week with a 2 day tourney and practice round, and at least one range session, so there will be lots more BB thoughts coming shortly in three review thread! But I’m really enjoying what I saw from it at the event in trajectory and feel and I’m looking forward to getting more reps in with it!

well, he did also use his putter. I need to do a better job at taking a variety of pics.

ive finally achieved the honor of being in a @Templet0n edited pic, life is good.
Finally, got through all the posts. Thanks again to all the THPers who followed along, you all made the event that much more fun. Some thoughts
– I wish I took more pics, I took a lot of pics of tee shots, but I think some more pics of different lies would have been more interesting. It also would’ve help give more context to our round.
– Also, take a picture of the hole number somewhere so its easier to organize which pics are for which hole. ?
– @JB is relentless with the trash talk, love it. @Bertie Pots was a good sport and took it all in stride. it added to the fun atmosphere. if I didn’t know this and was playing against him, it may have rattled me. Fortunately, I was on his team #rallyvest #winharder

You killed it and you can never ever take enough pics at an event! I tried to get approach shot pics and on the green. When you are not in group 2 things move quick so it can be tough
The rounds with @JB were some of the most fun i have had on course.
