At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. So, who wants to test and rebuild their long game with the new Cobra DS-ADAPT driver and fairways?

Cobra DS-ADAPT
Brand new and already getting rave reviews is the new Cobra DS-ADAPT and today we are going to put them in the hands of THPers for review. If you missed our full tech breakdown of the drivers, you are going to want to get acquainted, so you can find it here. If you missed our rundown of the fairways, you will also want to get acquainted, and you can find it here.
For this testing, we are going to remake the long part of your game, because each tester selected will receive the driver and fairway wood of their choice. You will have to choose the head, loft and of course shaft and grip and we will get them built and sent out to you. Your job will be to document your entire process including using the app to determine the best setting of FUTUREFIT33 for you.

Cobra DS-ADAPT
We will select a group of 6 THPers for this review. If selected you will get a rundown prior to ordering of the posting and review expectations. If you have questions beforehand, do not hesitate to ask below.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
Please note: You will be reviewing the clubs for a period of three months and then, the Cobra DS-ADAPT driver and fairway are yours to keep. If you cannot commit to this length of testing please do not signup.

This is such a great opportunity. I’ll be following along, as these drivers look amazing.
This one is going to be SO much fun.
I’ve heard all the buzz with the release of the Cobra DS-ADAPT drivers but haven’t had a chance to try one yet. This opportunity would definitely take care of that!
Step 1 – Tell us what driver you are currently playing? Callaway Paradym X
Step 2 – What fairway you are currently playing? Depending on the course I’ll play my Cobra King Tec 2hy or my Callaway Rogue 3w
Step 3 – Which driver head from DS-ADAPT would you choose and why? I would choose the DS-ADAPT Max K. Everything I’ve heard about that driver sounds like it would fit me well with forgiveness and the ability to dial in the perfect ball flight. @Doubleb21 loves his Max K and he’s been hounding me to check them out ever since he got it!
Step 1 – Tell us what driver you are currently playing? Callaway Rogue ST Max D 9 degree turned up to 11. I also have Epic Flash and Mavrik heads, bunch of different shafts I’ve tinkered with from 4SR to 7S
Step 2 – What fairway you are currently playing? TM Stealth Rocket (can’t hit worth a darn) Adams XTD 3W and TS2 4W depending on the bag, Callaway Heavenwood. Got a DS Adapt X 3HL and looking at a 7 to possibly replace the HW.
Step 3 – Which driver head from DS-ADAPT would you choose and why? Probably a Max or LS 9 degree. I like to tinker with heel weight and I need all the help I can get with closing the face down. My left-miss is nonexistent and would be a pull-fade if I somehow got it left of POA. I normally buy lower lofted clubs and turn them up to shut the face. Would be interested in seeing how tinkering with settings changes things now that the adapter moves independently.
Step 1 – Tell us what driver you are currently playing? Callaway AI Max 9 degree
Step 2 – What fairway you are currently playing? Rogue St 16.5 3 wood or Paradym SuperHybrid 16 depending on course
Step 3 – Which driver head from DS-ADAPT would you choose and why? DS Apapt X in 10.5 degrees
I love seeing the excitement about this opportunity to test.
Cannot wait to start seeing more thoughts on the new Cobra lineup of Drivers and Fairway woods. This release is so good, this will be fun to follow.
This somehow got down to page 4. Just giving it a little bit of a bump.

All the entries are hoping it gets buried ?
These are too good to sit in the sidelines for
Step 1 – Tell us what driver you are currently playing?
Rogue ST max
Step 2 – What fairway you are currently playing?
AI smoke max 3hl
Step 3 – Which driver head from DS-ADAPT would you choose and why?
The K. In reading what everyone is saying I think this will help with my tee game giving me added stability.
I also think @foreveryoung should enter so we can show the boys how it’s really done ?
Step 1 – Tell us what driver you are currently playing? Titleist GT2 10.5 with Denali Red 50g 6.0
Step 2 – What fairway you are currently playing? Titleist GT2 5w, 7w
Step 3 – Which driver head from DS-ADAPT would you choose and why?
If selected I would choose the Cobra Max-K 10.5 after using Cobra’s online selector that recommended it as well as the X as the next option.
Then went out to test on their selection and started off in A1 setting and looked at the ball flight and worked with the demo rep as well as the FutureFit33 system to help optimize a good starting point to help optimize its performance.
If selected I’d use again at A1 to verify the recommendation I received today and work from there to optimize. I’d go with the K as I like the way it stabilizes my hands in the swing. I typically use my hands to create a shot shape and it tends to lead to trouble so a more stable head helps in preventing the severe misses.
1) Currently play TSi3
2) Do not bag a FW at this time, but have giving a lot of thought to putting one back in the bag. 17* UW is as close as it gets right now.
3) Would like to go with the X, possibly even the Max D, as I do fight some left to right off the tee. Something I’d love to see if I could sort out with all those adjustment options!
Currently playing a Callaway PARADYM triple diamond
Also same for the 3 wood
I would use DS-ADAPT LS Driver to keep the spin down
1. Currently playing a 10.5* Cobra F-Max
2. Currently playing a Taylormade Burner 3w.
3. I’d go with a 12.0*
DS-Adapt Max K for the higher launch and forgiveness in mishits.
Thank you for the sharing, so useful
1) Currently playing a Cobra Radspeed XD driver
2) I currently play a cobra aero jet 3 hybrid with no fairway woods
3) I would play a 10.5* DS-ADAPT Max K
