At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. A few weeks ago, we reviewed the latest shaft from Nippon and if you missed our article on it, you can find that here. Excerpt from our Education Director, James Miles.
“The goal for the MODUS3 Tour 110 shafts was to bring a lighter weight design that could produce a stronger ball flight that helps prevent ballooning. Testing showed that across all three flexes, the new profile did just that. Controlled spin rates with a trajectory that works to its peak, perhaps not ideal for low ball hitters, but a potential breakthrough for those seeking to bring their flight down while also getting lighter in weight. ”
Criteria
We will select a group of 4 THPers that will join THP’s Education Director for this testing. If selected you will get a rundown prior to ordering of the posting and review expectations. If you have questions beforehand, do not hesitate to ask below.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
Please note: You will be reviewing the golf shafts for a period of two months and then they are yours to keep. If you cannot commit to this length of testing please do not signup.
