At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. So, who wants to test the brand new Steelfiber Nexus shaft?

Steelfiber Nexus Shaft
A few weeks ago, the Steelfiber Nexus officially became public and if you missed our preview article on it, you can find that here. Here is Don Brown, Vice President of Marketing and Innovation for True Temper:
“The Steelfiber Nexus series is a true milestone in golf shaft technology. With Nexus, we’ve combined the trusted performance of Steelfiber with a new level of innovation, offering players tailored solutions for both enhanced launch and ultimate control.”
Criteria
We will select a group of 5 THPers that will join THP’s Education Director @Jman for this testing. If selected you will get a rundown prior to ordering of the posting and review expectations. If you have questions beforehand, do not hesitate to ask below.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
Please note: You will be reviewing the golf shaft for a period of two months and then it is yours to keep. If you cannot commit to this length of testing please do not signup.

I’m really excited to see the feedback on these, whether it’s from me or others. It’s such a different approach to a driver shaft. I’m also curious if going lower in overall flex would be viable here since you have the handle stability of the Steelfiber even in the lower weights and flexes of the Blue profile.
Man, I kinda wanna test this!

I’m assuming the blue is probably the direction I’d need to head, though not sure, but how good would that black look in the Elyte head.

Just happen to have a Cobra Adapt adapter waiting for a shaft to be paired with. Going with a lighter weight than normal is kind of intriguingly. Both the blue and black look great
