At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. So, who wants to test the brand new Vortex Anarch laser rangefinder?

Vortex Anarch
A couple of weeks ago, we published our review of the Vortex Anarch and if you missed that, you can find it here. We also previously took a deep dive into the company in a Brand Story you do not want to miss. The Anarch might just be the best laser rangefinder on the market, but we want you to put it to the test and tell us what you think.
Criteria
We will select a group of 5 THPers that will join THP’s Education Director @Jman for this testing. If selected you will get a rundown prior to ordering of the posting and review expectations. If you have questions beforehand, do not hesitate to ask below.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
Please note: You will be reviewing the device for a period of two months and then it is yours to keep. If you cannot commit to this length of testing please do not signup.
How to Signup to Test
Comment below and follow these instructions.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
You must apply by end of day Friday, February 28th, 2025
We will announce the testers on Saturday, March 1st, on the THP Forum.

I’m in!
1) currently use a cheap Amazon knockoff brand
2) honestly, I’m looking forward to all of the features. But if I had to pick one, it would have to be the accuracy and speed of the rangefinder.

I’m in.
1. Currently use a vertex razor 4000 hunting model range finder.
2. Would love to compare their old tech to new tech put into a golf specific rangefinder. I’d give a $1 if my current had that on board magnet [emoji12]
Oh damn, I was secretly hoping this would happen! Fantastic that it makes its way to more THPers.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
ShorScope Pro L2
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
The superior optics quality I know from their rifle scopes, put into a rangefinder. How much of a difference it is and how will it perform.
Would love to enter this, but I’ll pass presently. Good luck to all who enter!
This will be a great one to test and look forward to the lucky selected feedback! Good luck everyone!
These testers are in for a real treat! I did my review before and it’s the best of the best
I’m in, I’ve never really had a high-quality range finder and the features in this one definitely made me perk up.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? – Some crappy RedTiger knockoff barely a range finder kind of range finder.
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? It’s a tough pick between Image Stabilization and Auto Brightness. I’ve never had a rangefinder with either. I probably lean Auto Brightness just because a pin could be against the sun, away from the sun, in a shadow, in a bright spot and I can just really see this feature being awesome to hit the pin quickly especially in combo with the Image Optimization.
Wow – great opportunity. This sounds like a great premium product.
What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
Primarily GPS via the 18 Birdies app on my Apple Watch. I do have a Precision Pro with slope that I use occasionally.
What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
The optics. Everyone has raved about the optics. I would love to see it myself.
Good luck to all that enter!
1. Precision Pro R1
2. Man, lots of cool features but the image stabilization had to top the list.
Wow! Another great testing opportunity!
Good luck everyone! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Anarch!!
I’m good with my Tech Toys so I will Pass.
Curious to see some comparisons with Bushnell and others.
Goodluck everyone.
1) Precisionpro NX9
2) 6X, Stabilization & target lock on
I find myself using my current rangefinder less & less because due to my (very frustrating) old guy shaking hands I can’t hold steady enough on targets over 60 yards or so to get a good reading.
The 6 power feature is a plus for me as well.
I already know about the superior optics having used Vortex scopes, red dots & binoculars for years
Fantastic opportunity to test the best.
1. Shot Scope PRO ZR
2. Image stabilization, cause I must be getting the DT’s.
Current: Shot Scope Pro L1
Features: Stabilization and Optic clarity
1. Bushnell Tour V4
2. The speed of locking onto a target is what I’d like to have.
Maybe my V4 is worn our, or just old, because it seems it takes a long time to lock onto a target, and sometime not at all.
Entries should be aplenty on this one.
Who wouldn’t want to test the Anarch?
These WILL blow minds.
This is a cool opportunity. Very interested in these but going to sit this one out.. I do not use rangefinders enough to test one out.
Kinda makes for a solid candidate, no? See how these perform for those that aren’t rangefinder users regularly, that’s a cool segment to test.

Guess I did not think of it that way lol, I was more on the side I typically forget to use it because I usaully know what club I need to hit coming up to my golf ball at the courses I play.
Good luck to all that enter. I‘m an optics and rangefinder junkie so I already own a Vortex rangefinder and a set of their 15 power binoculars. I look forward to the reviews!
Sounds like a great chance to test a cool product here. Good luck to all.
Good luck to all those that throw their names in the hat. I already own the Blade Slope so I’ll watch this one.
I was borrowing my Son’s Nikon until he left it behind on a green in Prescott AZ. I’ve now come to realize how much of a difference this technology makes especially as it relates to slope. Wish I had more to offer but appreciate the opportunity. It broke 50* here in MI so getting the juiced to get back on the course.
This is an awesome opportunity!
1 – Blue Tees Series 3
2 – I love the clarity of my Vortex optics, and would love to experience that same quality in my rangefinder.
Love to see this.
Super jealous of those of you who get a chance to review these, as they look absolutely amazing. Too early in the season here for me to jump in but I look forward to seeing comments from those chosen!
This probably works nicely with the start of my season, and so I’m in for this one:
1 – Currently using a Mileseey PF3S (Chinese brand typically found on eBay and Temu/Ali Express)
2 – Definitely the optics, specifically in challenging lighting conditions where I struggle with my current rangefinder and which has a knock on effect for time to lock-on and accuracy
Man I’d love to jump in this. The Anarch was on my budget for this season and I haven’t yet pulled the trigger.
I just can’t commit to being able to golf over the next two months here in Wisconsin.
I’ll be looking forward to this testing though! Its gonna blow some minds!
1. Currently using a Pinned Prism+
2. There are two features that interest me. The image stability as I don’t have the hands of a surgeon, and the target lock Pinspotter mode. Feel like I have to click the button 4-5 times until I actually hit the pin on some of the longer approach shots.
Thanks for the chance

This makes a lot of sense.
Plus maybe the reason they don’t use rangefinders much is because they haven’t found one that agreed with them.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Precision Pro NX9 Slope
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
I believe there are two or three features that I am curious about in this testing opportunity. The first is auto-brightness along with improved colors for the internal optics—something I haven’t seen in any of the other PP rangefinders I’ve used. Clear, easy-to-read optics in a top-tier unit could be a differentiator.
The second is image stabilization. While I’ve never had trouble measuring distances with previous models on the bag, there are moments when targeting a small flag from afar requires extra precision (pun intended). This feature could make that process smoother.
I’ve always used PP rangefinders, but I’m curious to explore what else is out there.
Don’t miss out on this one fellas, this thing is legit.
1, What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? I am currently using the Bushnell V5
2, What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? The image stabilization because I do not have the most steady hand.
Good luck to all who enter

I would say so… just got mine yesterday. Haven’t had a chance to use it but I did unbox it and it just looks/feels premium.

Absolutely. Vortex is just so impressive as a brand, they cut no corners.
Comment below and follow these instructions.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? None
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? The clear optics
Man, one of these is in my Amazon wish list. I want to do this soo bad, but I just think it’s too early in the year for me to do this review justice. If it was summer, I would be all over it. Just can’t commit now unless you want a review of shooting deer and trees on my property.
Best of luck to all that enter. I will be all over that review thread with lots of questions.
Oh man this looks great! Thanks for the opportunity!
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Currently just my Bushnell Wingman Speaker
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? Stabilization! I have tried a few range finders and I always have an issue getting an accurate read.
This is a great opportunity.

Spoiler alert – it’s excellent ?
Good luck to everyone applying to test!
Good luck to those entering. Would love to test this but there won’t be enough playable golf around here in the next two months to give it a full review. Looking forward to the reviews!
1. I’m using a Precision Pro NX9 with slope function.
2. I’m looking forward to testing the pin seeker function and image stabilization.
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Im currently without a device. I left my rangefinder in the woods back in November!
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? Image stabilization is something I find incredible and I am very familiar with Vortex optics on my firearms, but not so much for golf!
I’ve used the same laser for a looooong time, and I’d love to try out something different from what I’m used to
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
Currently I’m using the Garmin Z80
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
I’m most intrigued to see the image stabilization in action along with the enhanced optics
Currently: Nikon Coolpix II
Features: Want to compare optics and long distance target accuracy for sure
Good luck to all those that enter. I’d only be able to take distances of the trees in my backyard or how far kids bus stop is for a bit still
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using? Garmin Watch only
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about? Color and Clarity advancements, because I can’t “seen” it too good from other rangefinders I have tried
I am currently using at Blue Tees Series 3 Max.
The image stabilization is what I am most interested in. My hands don’t have a lot of shake, but for some reason when I do shake a when I am using my ranfefinder.
Oh man I am so in on this one!
Step 1 – What laser or distance measuring device are you currently using?
Currently none, I generally use gps but have really been looking for a good range finder
Step 2 – What feature of the Anarch are you interested in finding out about?
The image stabilization feature is the top of my list.
Thank you for this opportunity THP is the best
